    Plant regrowing at the base?

I get these types of growth spurts coming at the base a lot. Mostly when I have clipped off lower branches or pinched off and they regrow again. Those areas aren't bad for clones if you need them.

DIY LED Grow Light Vero 18 (Economy light)

I think so for sure. I run LEDs in a tent. I also run some CFL for side lighting. Sometimes I turn off the CFL's and the difference in temps without these lights on I'd noticeable.

1st Day of Flowering Plant Stress?

Some of them may come back... the ones that aren't totally wilted. Flush with water I'd say because it looks like what they are sitting in nutrient wise has caused this. Why I don't know, but maybe it's just too strong. for them.

    Fan leaf with single finger

Many people say toss the plants. Start over. I have only tossed plants that had spider mites and only because I had many plants and didn't want to infest healthy ones. I have taken many vegging plants from stressful situations and brought them back to health. Well worth it in the end. Just need...

    Fan leaf with single finger

I have to admit that generally when this has happened to my girls.. its due to stress of sorts. Moisture stress and spider mites... treatment of spider mites. Made sure all were back to what I felt were healthy plants before flowering. All turned out fine.

6 Week Flowering Yellowing Ok or Not

Trimming is a preference thing. You could take some in a little closer but no big deal. Can still be cleaned up after they dry out. I actually keep the trim and dry it and smoke it too.

    What am i doing wrong

They don't look bad to me. I'd say let them be and don't water too much. It's easy to over water when they are in large pots to start. That's why I always start in peat pellets or plugs. Then when the roots start to show through I put them in solo cups. Then their final pot. Some may think...

LED Panel 1/2 the lights OUT

Agreed then.... I will toss it. DUST it is not mold....It is old... or was old. I did go to SG's link and looked at the parts pricing. Parts look to be cheap. And yes that's what I intended to start with one COB fixture and see how I do. Gives me a project for the winter months. And the...

LED Panel 1/2 the lights OUT

I have had this CP power supply kicking around for some time. I was going to throw it away not too long ago. Can this be utilized for a DIY LED light fixture. I should have saved the metal case and it could have been the housing for the COBs with reflectors! Here's the unit? Is it usable...

LED Panel 1/2 the lights OUT

I went through your thread and I am very impressed. Don't know if I am that handy.. but i'd like to try to hook up one and if I can get things to LIGHT UP, then that's pretty much most of the battle. Money is something I need to save for sure.

DIY LED Grow Light Vero 18 (Economy light)

Yes I agree here. This is what I would do. Try one module even with parts I may be able to work with at home and learn. Before expecting to be able to go the whole way.

LED Panel 1/2 the lights OUT

They are very bright. I had to put sunglasses on to work on it. I didn't let my dog look at it. I will try the adaptor method as well. Very informative. I am learning a lot. Almost convinced I could mcgiver some sort of a diy light myself now knowing what I know. Got a little 40 watt...

LED Panel 1/2 the lights OUT

Well I will try to do some repairing here. I have nothing to lose really. It's a learning curve and may teach me how the unit works as a whole. Still considering a 400-600 watt hps and then use these in veg. Not sure yet. Hate making split decisions.

Thank you Mike... I will take it apart again and use the wire method as you suggested the first time!!! I should have had it and done that route as well. Its not a big deal to take it apart...
