Today's paper cites 2000 lightning strikes Sunday and 100 fires. You Colo and Florida guys may get more lightning but I bet we have a higher wildfire/ lightning strike ratio.....and that aint good.
The posters from the emerald triangle could tell you about dry heat but I haven't seen them around lately. Here we've been having a steady diet of 100 and yesterday a freak thunderstorm blew in and started upwards of 70 wildfires.
I heard him first on Mountain Stage. Saturdays we get 1 hour of E town, 2 hours of Mountain Stage and then 2 of the new Prairie Home Companion which often has some good tunes. And then Sunday American Routes. Are we missing anything?
