Is it ok to cut shade leaves off to let plant flower better?

I have to thin the heck out of my plants now because of the rain and humidity. Have to keep the plant as airy as possible help to prevent PM. It will be a daily inspection until harvest.

I think you are correct now that I think about it, but most of the shit is on leaves. I put a hunk of shatter in a Everclear tincture and if it dissolved it took more than the day I had it. Gave it to a friend.

I use alcohol/water mix for killing insects if there are just a few. I was thinking that the alcohol might stop PM too. Has anyone tried it. It certainly doesn't harm the plants.

    Proper curing

I helped a friend trim some green indoor last week and he dried it at around 70 degrees and 40% humidity. I grow outside in Oregon and harvest is like mid October. I can't use his method because I have too much and it's going to be wet from high humidity even though it is under cover. This...

    Here comes the rain/pic's Oregon

http://www.greencure.net/what_is_greencure.asp It's just potassium bicarbonate. I think some places sell it in bulk. 8 oz is 17 bucks and it mixes about 1.5 TBSP/Gal. I keep some in a spray bottle for spot spraying

    Here comes the rain/pic's Oregon

It's been a good warm summer with very little rain. The forecast for later today and the next four calls for rain. The mildew battle will begin soon. I have already sprayed a couple times as a preventive measure, but it will be a time consuming battle until harvest. I did a lot of topping trying...

Plants dying in one area of the garden

I think I solved the riddle. Flea Beetle Larva. I had a big infestation of flea beetles earlier this summer and they were pretty easy to eliminate. I dug up a tree seedling that grew near these plants and found a larva in that dirt, but didn't think much of it. I'll drench the hell out of them...

Plants dying in one area of the garden

This is strange. I grow in richly composted dirt with a hoop house. This is my third year. Year one everything was fine with my plants. Last year I had one plant that was sickly for reasons unknown. This year I have had two plants go from growing vigorously to dead in a couple of days a few...

    Topping

South down around Medford/Grants Pass would probably be the best price for a place with a few acres. The farther north you travel the more $$$
