Thank you to everyone for your suggestions and input! I went with the cheap option and got 10 gal of spring water an set the PH and added nutrients. Ppm 575 PH 5.3 Temp 67 I will check at 7 when lights come on and see what the damage is.

I would use more than 100w of cfl if your looking for a decent yield. Just my 2c

My very first grow was in MG soil with no nutes and tap water with 1 23w cfl for each of my 6 plants and got a half O all together. If you do what everyone else is saying and place your lights in the right spot, veg for a full month, lst and flower all the way you could get between 1 to 2 oz.

Oh and the harshness is most likely in the cure. Try curing it longer, if you already cure for 2months than Idk. Maybe the strain not liking the nutes or not flushing them properly before harvest.
