i just bought that same cool tube. i was useing cfl's for my first grow and didnt get any bud. glad to see what my new lights can do. they look good. how close to the plant can you get the cool tube?

second grow, first one didnt bud. i used cfl's for first 3 weeks of veg. i bought a 400 watt mh/hps 6inch cool tube reflector and put the plant under that. tell me what you think. its bag seed. nothing fancy, just a air pump and lights.

was wondreing how close i can put my light to my plant useing a cool tube. i know its 18 to 22 inches with regular set up. didnt know if i could get closer with a cool tube. i veggied with cfl's for 3 weeks, and now i bought a 400 watt mh/hps set up.heres some pics.bongsmilie

can i ask what you will probably consider a dumb qustion. what is the black cover on your bucket? is it just the lid? i also saw one on a cooler it looked just like the lid you have. i'm thinking of doing my next grow in a cooler. i used a tub for my first grow and it didn't turn out well.

i'm haveing smae problem. i put my sprout in my dwc and top feed it until it rooted. it looked good for a week then wilted then it dried up . people keep saying i drowned it but that seems odd. i think i had a week air stone and i over used the nutes at first.

yes i used the nutrients that came with it. since i have bought botanicare pro i sprouted another and it was going good then it dried and shriveled.what am i doing? looks even worse now. also i'm not useing the sub pump and spider hose.just making sure the net pots are in the water about a inch.

the problem with the system from sh is you cant grow that many plants that close together for very long. you will have to go to wally world for seperate tubs. by the way you can buy the whole thing at walmart and lowes. but you end up paying about the same price. i bought one from sh, and have...
