Correct, I do a 20-30 second spastic shake of my QWISO jar then right to filter. After evap. and scrape I have a bronze colored powder. I don't press it anymore, just sprinkle it where needed. But no worries, the first few batches I did were gooey meeses also! :blsmoke: -OGH

You won't hurt anything with a filter, but it isn't necessary.....considering most plants grow in dirt :-) I do believe though, your water level should be just below the bottom of the net pots...like a half inch to inch below. Other than that, should work fine...thinking of popping something...

Most all the outside parts are the same for most companies. The differences is in their set-up (filter array), and the quality of their filters inside the cartridges. For the actual RO membrane, you want to be sure you get a DOW FilmTec membrane. Their 50gpd and 75 gpd membranes have a 97-98%...
