I run waterfarms and DIY clones of them also....so I can comment that they rock like hell! I usually run 1 plant from seed or 2-4 clones per bucket and use an inverted tomatoe cage for training. Works wonderful. The main drawback for me is the "mist" or droplets that are created from the water...

Looking great man! I love 2-liters...here's a shot of some NL I grew early this year in 16oz. cups...and a 2 liter for comparison purposes. Got about 2 extra grams out the 2 liter...but the little cups all gave me about a Q each. Totally fun way of growing if you enjoy the daily maintenance...

I think it mainly depends on how large a space you have as to how long you veg. Most plants will stretch 2-3 times their height while flowering....so it comes down to how tall you want them. I normally put my babies into flower when they are 6-8 inches tall as I want them to finish at or below...

You can buy feminized seeds and you should get 99% females. Or you can buy regular seeds and get a mix of male and female. Apparently there are ways to "influence" the sex of regular seeds...but not sure how reliable those methods are. Peace - OGH

That is not a hydro kit. It is put together for you to hand water your growbags with coco. They may have hydro kits, but that one is not it...though it does look pretty complete if you don't mind watering by hand.....which I would recommend anyway if it's your frst grow. Peace- OGH
