Are you letting your tap water set out for 24 hours? (I assume you're using tap water) And IMO...you want to feed that poor girl with some flower nutes...and start off small like 1/4 strength and work your way up and if you're using tap water, it should have enough calcium in it for you to just...

You're partially right there...actually I start all my clones/beans/veg under a double/quad 4' HO-T5 and CFLs and I put them 2-3 inches away...but...I have 4-6" fans circulating air to them, and on them at all times so it never gets too hot for them...cuz I use a mixed spectrum...
