no not old and dusty air its a finished basement with concrete floors , no widows . the garage and basement are one but seperated all I have is a door to get to the garage if that make any sense. when I put the computer fan in it droped the temp by 2 degrees compared to just having a hole.

before i put the light in there the temp was at a steady 70 , and when I put the light in there with no intake in the floor the temp was at 97. I added the floor vent and got it down to 91 . the temp aander the floor in the basement is 68- 69 degrees. does that help any?

when they pop out of the dirt get the cfls bout 2-3 "from he top of them but be carfull and dont burn them. you will need to make the light adjustable cuz the plant will grow into them every day.
