how much fertilizer/nutes do you go through in a season?

thanks, i had skimmed over that earlier but i thought it was just a soil base to start from that still required nutes throught the season. i read it a little more closely and not only will that work, it sounds like that will actually smooth out a few of the other wrinkles in my plan...

    Dry Ice hash

Cold storage warehouses sometimes sell it as well. Do they sell bags of ice at the gas stations around you? Ice isn't very cost effective to ship, so its usually made somewhere locally, and the ice company will usually sell dry ice as well. If not, call them anyway...they probably get that...

1st annual RIU after harvest BBQ! Sat Dec 10th!

Damn this sounds like a good time. Lol put me down for 2012! Hell, maybe if it goes well, we could build on its success and do regional events. All the RIU North guys could go ice fishing. Nobody's gonna bother you out on Minnetonka for sure!

how much fertilizer/nutes do you go through in a season?

sorry if this question is overly vague, just trying to fill in some of the holes in my plan for next year and hopefully work up a rudimentary budget. I have a very basic understanding of the concept of the nutes, how you need different levels of N,K,and P during veg and flowering, etc., but...

    Getting Ready For 2012

looks like a great site. i thought i had the perfect spot and i cleared out a section not quite as big as that with a machete...but forgot to cross-check it against public hunting areas. the woods are overrun with blaze orange now! All for the best though, it forced me to do some more...

    Harvesting at night?

i guess it kind of depends on where your grow is, but if at all possible i would try to time it for a clear night with a full or mostly full moon. once your eyes adjust you'll have all the light you need. the red lens is a great idea (also won't interfere with your night vision) but it's still...

    Amber Trichome Controversy

from what i understand from jorge cervantes' book, the amber color is the resin inside the gland beginning to break down. CBN is what the THC degrades into as the flower passes its prime.

outdoor bud looks like its all seed pods (There are males growing in with the females

i found some weed growing wild a couple times years ago (yes, i am positive it was not somebody's grow) the first time, i tried harvesting a couple of the plants, but it was just not worth it. the "buds" were all seed and no bud. The buds were so small and wispy that i couldn't really pick...

those duffel bags are amazing. you can ALWAYS fit one more thing in them. cheap, too! what kind of trimmer is that? one of the biggest problems i'm anticipating with my grow plan for next year is the final harvest...i will have nowhere to take the plants to either dry or trim them, so i'm...

    Dried in a cigar box

close. humidors are made for storing tobacco at 70% humidity. they require humidifying elements to do this (usually a sponge with a 50/50 mix of distilled water and propylene glycol, sometimes a more advanced setup). a cigar box is just a plain wooden box. often cedar, but sometimes not...
