It appears to be a root/O2 issue. Check to make sure the airstones are not clogged and putting out bubbles. Check the water temp in the bucket, if its too high, it cant carry much O2. Check for Root Rot? bongsmilie Good Luck!

The discoloration is the plant begging for more nutes. The plant is getting deficient in nutrients. Check the PH first to make sure it is within range for the plant to uptake the nutes. If that is okay, then give them more nutes. bongsmilie Good Luck!
