You really dont need to put holes in the inverted tote used as a dome. You can just push it to the side so the lid overhangs past the end of the lower one, opening an air passage, lowering the humidity. Adjust opening to create the perfect humidity under the dome. Good Luck!

From what I understand, the ideal res temp in Hydro is 68 F. It is possible to cool the water by pumping cooler air into the water. If it gets out of control, you can freeze water bottles, and place them in the res and replace when they thaw. Good Luck!
