    2nd Grow

That's what I would use in a PC case, a 42W minimum, or maybe two 26W's. The 26W's should be easier to find at any hardware store. You will also need a PC fan to vent the air in and out. I think a fan in the front to pull air in, and a fan in the back to pull air out would be ideal. The venting...

Two 250w hps or one 600w hps?

One 600W as long as heat isn't an issue. Two 250W lights if heat is an issue.

    2nd Grow

Fluorescent is your best bet. AT LEAST, you need a 42W CFL. Cool color for veg, warm color for flower.

    How many grams?

1 gram per watt would be ideal for an experienced grower. 400W = 400 grams, 600W = 600 grams, etc. This would be IDEAL and not easily obtained.

    How many grams?

That depends on many things young Padawan. Anywhere from 7 to 168 per plant, for an indoor grow. Maybe more. Lighting, nutes, temperature, air circulation, genetics, grower experience, are a few things that will determine yield.

Ok, what is this leaf problem?

I fixed the pH problem, and trimmed the leaves with the problem. Was I correct to do that? Or, would the leaf had healed itself?

Who Makes the Best Digital Ballast?

Hydrofarm Lumatek ballast. My 400W has been handling my MH 400W and HPS 430W Agrosun Red bulb like nobody's business. No noise whatsover and a small footprint to boot. Plus, it's purple, nuff said.

Ok, what is this leaf problem?

Thanks for the link. I found another page over there that looks exactly like my problem: link I use the fox farm ocean forest and all their nutes and supplements to the letter every other feeding, so I didn't think it was a deficiency per se. I checked my ph runoff and it was bright yellow...

400w hps compared to 1000w hps yield difference

Nothing, unless you can get it closer to the plants. I have a 400W simply because for a 600W or above, I would need a ducting system to be able to get the 600W or above closer to the plants. Since I don't want to do that, my top light is a 400W. If I got a 600W or a 1000W, I couldn't place it...

Ok, what is this leaf problem?

Other than a couple of leaves, everything looks really good. It is happening towards the bottom of my Nirvana Northern Lights plant. I am using fox farm ocean forest soil, with all the fox farm nutes and supplements being used every other watering. Following the fox farm chart exactly...

400w hps compared to 1000w hps yield difference

It depends on how far away you can place your light. A 400W at 11 inches is the same light as a 1000W at 18 inches.

Changeing light 24/0 to 18/6 :Questions:

Yes, you can start a new veg cycle. People have been known to start a new veg cycle after flowering 12/12 for a short time, so you should have no problems.

Changeing light 24/0 to 18/6 :Questions:

The plant can do fine on 24/0 in veg. Your heat would be best at mid 70's. 65-85 would be the two extremes. However, others have posted their's are fine in the 90's. That's too hot unless using co2 if you ask me. Also, check your light distance, you may be burning them a little if the light is...
