The best way is to check out the trichomes. You want the trichs to be cloudy. When most is cloudy they're ready to go. You would need a magnifier to see that though.

Salt and rubbing alcohol. Works wonders

I scrape off the gum and then use a paper towel and alcohol and rub it clean. I also have 4 scissors so I don't have to stop and clean every time it gets build up. Once I'm done, I then clean them all at the same time.

It first occurred when I had a few cfl's. I have moved them into a larger room running a 600 watt mh light roughly 1 1/2feet away from the tops of the plants.

I mist my plants when the lights are on and off. I do it more when it's on then off. Never had a problem. Thats why I thought it was the GoGnats. I think my ph has been climbing up a little lately. I need to bring it back down a little. Thanks for the help.

Thanks a lot jake. I was planning on doing 10 in 5gal buckets in a 4x8 area with 1000watt and 600watt on a light mover. But, looking at your picture I think I might be able to get away with 12 in that area. I can't wait to see how yours turns out. I won't be able to start mine until about End...
