there are 2 fans on the hood vent both 120mm, the fans in place now are low output however i have 2 panaflows coming in the mail that move ALOT of air... when i remove a side of the vent the air is moving at a respectable speed.

I assume the optimum place to put a hole with a fan pulling into the case is the floor or close to it. above the grow medium containers i imagine would be a good place in this cabinet. any other ideas?

well thats good enough for me, the only way to get this perfect is to dismantle a hand built cabinet and spray adhesive each piece then roll the mylar on... this cabinet was built like 25yrs ago and if it comes apart i doubt will go back together the way i plan it to... something to think of...
