I have 2 lights like them for my driveway(175 watt HPS though),the ballast is built into that light fixture.If everything works you just need to find out the voltage and wire up the plug... G'Luck

In my opinion a 70 watt hps is barely enough for one if you want decent size buds.

Ive never seen major differences from going 24/0 or 18/6 . I'd use 18/6 and save some power and bulb life IMO.
