I think I killed my 2 sprouts!! Alright, here's what I did. I soaked the seeds in water for a few days and finally saw sprouts. I put them into pre-pH'd Rockwool and into some net cups with Hydroton. All of this was pre-soaked to pH'd water (~6.0) and the Hydroton was rinsed hella times...

Let me clarify - They soaked in water for ~10 days and sprouted. They have little root showing, and so I put them into the rockwool then. Now it has been another ~10 days basically, and they look like they have longer roots (much thicker) but still the rest of the plant is hidden away inside...

I'm having some issues germinating my seeds. They are 2+ years old for sure. They soaked for maybe 12 days and finally cracked. I let them soak on a wet paper towel for another day or so, then into the rockwool cubes they went. 7 days later and I see the taproot still. No idea how big it is...

From that last pic it looks like you might need more air bubbles... Another stone would be good but you'll need another or a bigger pump as if you just double the airstones, you will halve what each stone puts out. Less O2 = Less rapid growth...

It will die if it is at 100, and with 90 it will be thin buds. Trust me, I know from experience. My grow box is 1.5x2x3.

Sup LonghornFan - That is good insight - I was wondering myself if anyone used that flex airstone. Seems more "usable" but I had no idea if it actually worked - glad to hear it does. I will give it a shot if I can't seal my round airstones and get them working properly!

Sweet find on the tote - yes, that will be perfect. Look into "SCROG" - Screen of Green - it is kind of like LST but on steroids. You can set a max height (screen height) and go from there. It's a good idea if you have spacial width but not height which it sounds like you do.

Lights are too high - not a problem right now but once they are sprouting up out of the rockwool, get the lights down and the fans going to keep it all cool. High lights will make your plant long and stretchy, plus CFLs lose MAJOR lumens every inch or so. Read the CFL forums, you should try to...
