i have been using 3 inch pots and have 2 plants about 2 weeks from finish and they seem pretty good but i was curious if using such a small size pot effects the roots/plant. would a 5inch pot with more medium be better?

Also one thing you can do is use styrafoam board instead of cardboard, to help with temps more. I got a couple pieces of 3/4 inch ( small selection) and put 3 together for the pots to sit in and it works pretty good, just cut to size and tape together.

yes, i just did this on my plant that was 4 weeks into flower. got roots showing outside the cube in about 6-7 days, but im going to assume it might need a little longer to get back to normal growth rate but it'll defenintly work.

leave door open if you can. Or as mentioned above, maybe just do 8 hrs so the temps dont get so hot. Maybe get some cheap CFLs and set them up for a week to eliminate heat if you have to.

what about dropping the duct from roof with string attached, and tied to grow room duct pull both back up and they perform individually? if not, the directional airflow duct inside the splice area duct seems like a good idea as long as it doesnt block any movement in the main line coming up.

not sure what you mean by in or out vents but the closet door stays open with an ocelating fan pushing air into the room with a fan on... thats pretty manegable on the bill part, thanks

a 400 watt HPS bulb is rly hot, you can barely hold your hand near it, with 400 watt of cfls you can touch each and every bulb with low enough wattage spread out.

5000 is what i have been using, had a single 27 watt over a clone that grew about 3-4 inches in a week. saying you would have to wait a month to grow 5 inches is just rediculous, u could probably do that with a 2700 spectrum which is ideal for flowering as far as CFL lighting goes. Adding the...
