What brand and Spectrum do you guys suggest for best flowering results? I have a HTG 1,000 6 " cooled hood that has mh/hps bulbs. Are they cheap bulbs or does it not matter. I would assume some have to be much better then others. Whats the secret?

Alright guys so I have a poll that started in my signature and there are many people tuning in for this grow so tune in it should be fun. I am starting the seeds today. Here is a picture of where I start things. I am growing the top 5 strains that resulted from the poll of 10 choices.

So I am looking and these Violator Kush I am growing is not showing signs of amber trichs. That is what tells me they are ready right? I am about to start week 10 and just want to make sure they keep going. Looks like maybe 2% are amber. I am looking for 70% approx right?

So here is the setup. There is a 400w MH/ HPS Bulb setup. MH in Veg and HPS in Flower. Grew this Barneys Farm Violator KUSH for 5 weeks exactly in VEG and then flicked the light 4 weeks ago this past saturday. I will be posting weekly updates every saturday so tune in. The results are amazing...

So this past saturday marked 3 weeks flowering. I vegged these plants for exactly 5 weeks flipped the cycle 3 weeks ago saturday. Week by week pictures will follow every saturday. Enjoy the pics. Even over the last 4 days they are thickening in quite a bit.:bigjoint::bigjoint::wall:
