I'm using a 2ft 4 Lamp T5 setup to veg the mothers, when my seeds arrive that is. You don't really need anything more than fluorescent lights for seedlings and vegatation. In fact you can flower with fluorescents as well, but I think you'll find most people use HPS. Not sure how to upload...

I don't think you're supposed to use ferts at this young age. But there is no question the lamp was WAY too close for these young plants.

I've read that Ontario actually produces the most weed in Canada, despite the reputation of the west. Although, B.C. probably produces much better outdoor.
