    Northern Minnesota/Wisconsin Growers Collective

So here is my thought... would like to begin a network of communication of the folks growing and breeding cannabis in northern MN and WI with the anticipation that MN goes rec legal by 2020-2021. The goal would be to share quality genetics/growing techniques/experiences/etc that would lead to...

    Marijuana Mystery

OH, and I don't see this a particularly bad thing either - I have a bunch of seeds that I normally wouldn't… not sure how they'll turn out - but worth giving them a try.

    Marijuana Mystery

Thanks for all the replies! No banana shaped things in the buds at all… I too am leaning towards random pollination from being out in the open air. We live by a lot of farms and obviously in a rural area… so the chance that someone had a little grow somewhere that was abandoned and...

    Someone growing on my land??

Instead of thinking about how it can profit you - by way of a new gun or grow light - think about the roles being reversed... how would you want the guy to handle YOUR plants he finds growing on HIS land... in that question you will find the answer to this quandary.

    Someone growing on my land??

I guess if you wanted to let the dude finish out the grow I would do like mentioned above - leave a note close to harvest time stating that you monitored his grow and have trail cam pics of him tending plants etc. Finish off by saying "you're a lucky S.O.B. that I'm so kind and understanding...

Most effective methods against cold weather and frost...

No real secrets here... most times a frost or even a freeze is a one or two night deal then it warms back up sometimes for weeks without frost or freezing again... so, as gardeners know, if plants are in the ground you'll need to cover them with something - a bed sheet, tarp, etc. it keeps them...

Attitude is not taking US customers anymore???

It's your card...I just had the exact problem... called my CC company and went through a 30 second confirmation deal that confirmed I attempted to make purchases at Attitude and they said the block would be lifted within 5 min...still didn't work so had to call the CC company and talk to the...

my opinion on paper towel method

Freakin' hilarious!! Laughed out loud... I started hundreds of veg and flower seeds this spring... all came up just putting them directly into the growing medium and keeping moist. The paper towel thing only satisfies the curiosity and need to know that my precious seed has sprouted. For...

    air dry help

I've heard that a kiln dry = like they do good lumber... will really reduce moisture... down to like 5 or 6% but the smoke tastes like green-treated pine 2x4's... to each his own.

proposed medical marijuana law passed through the legislature a few years back but the republican gov - Tim Pawlenty - vetoed it... starting autos in a one gal pot?

I'm growing a Pak Ryder right now and have transplanted a few times without any noticable stress... IN addition, the recent transplant went from a 2 gallon to 3.5 gallon... I had roots sticking out the bottom of the 2 gallon and am expecting roots from the 3.5 in a week or two. This is my...

How do I transplant 3 week seedlings in straight soil, no cubes

They sound like they are more than ready to handle a transplanting... I have grown veggies, flowers for 15+ years and am on my first MJ grow and have transplanted thousands of seedlings (not to sound like I;m some kind of plant guru... cuz I'm not!!) but I've transplanted my Pakistan Ryder plant...

Why Transplant ?? just a noob question

Couple reasons... If you are starting a number of seedlings... say 10 or 20 - 3 or 5 gallon containers would take up SO much space. In my case I start hundreds of veggie and flower seedlings to be moved outdoors in May... I would be screwed if I tried to start them all in larger containers...

East Canada Guerilla growing: Can only water evrey 2 weeks. Any tips?

you have all the things down man... I would concentrate on the mulching... go with leaves - dead OR ALIVE... surrounding grasses etc... gather them up and lay a nice thick layer around the base of your plants... spread them wide... 3 or 4 feet... will help to keep that soil cool, moist and...

    Growing... An Exercise In Patience

Hey RIU folks... Straight up new guy here... just wanted to throw out my observations for any other new growers. This endevor has been a learning experience that is rooted (pun intended) in patience. In the beginning... Researching seeds and seed banks. Getting the balls worked up to order...
