okay, after much bitching and moaning on my part, i decided to start a thread in hopes that someone will know how to work around this god-awful shit called miracle-gro. anyone have any suggestions as to how i can work around those time-released pellets in my soil? i think it's killing my plant?

for a semi-newbie, would cloning be too much of a trainwreck for me to try or is it fairly do-able? if i were to try cloning, would it be too late for me? would my clones get big enough if i'm outdoors?

just out of curiosity, in nature, what happens to a weed plant? like, what happens to the buds and the actual plant? does it live past a season?

i started tying down my plants about a week ago and yesterday i noticed that the sideways "pull" sorta pulled the plant out slightly. i could see where the stem seperates into the main roots (i saw two). is this bad? that part of the root seems pretty hardy to me. no?

what is the best way to prevent snails? they're REALLY starting to piss me off.

i saw this copper band thing at the local nursery. does this actually help prevent slugs from getting on your plants? and are slugs really a threat?
