ok folks its almost time to harvest, i would say i have three weeks left maybe two depending on the weather. what can i do to make my buds really pack on the size? they just don't seem to be filling out as big as i think they should. please help me get some nice buds.

you should always have some type of ventilation in your grow area. whether or not its to cool a light or not. depending on the total area in the closet you may or not need to blow one directly on it. a snall ocilating fan may be all you need. good luck

the only advantage to using flouros during veg is that it contains light in the blue side of the spectrum which replicates the long days of summer. hps is more toward the red side of the spectrum which replicates the short days of autumn

wow thanks for the tips....so the pellets are a bitch huh? thats not really what i wanted to hear. but i figured that would be the case. i like the bathtub idea. maybe some scalding hot water and agitation would work well? well anyone that has a good way to clean hydroton please post..

you will be fine with flouros during veg....i used them dring an entire grow and had decent results. if your going to switch to hps during flower you will be fine

Botanicare makes some really nice products that i had success with on my very first indoor grow. if i didn't mess it up nobody can. start out with pure blend grow and then switch to whatever blooming fert you like. good luck and keep asking questions thats how you learn!

:wall:ok so i harvested today and i chopped the plant and trimmed everything off. leaves, buds, the whole shabang. i even trimmed the smaller leaves off the buds. now everything i read they say to hang the entire plant upside down and let it dry. what should i do with my jar of buds??? help...

try supercropping on your next grow. you can find out how to do it really easily on here. also i had to retie my grow twice because it stretched so much. the key is just don't pull down the stem down to much at once if you have a thick stem already. move it into the position you want it over...

i basically have the same setup as yak (awesome name btw). if you can only find clear totes grab a can of black spraypaint and cover it. the whole point of DIY projects is they are going to look professional. embrace your homemade junk. thats half the fun man. good luck.

go to walmart and grab a dryer vent kit($15), then home depot or lowes for a 4" in line duct fan($20). trace the inline where you want the box to be ported and cut it out. use the vent hose to vent the air outside and you got what you need. thats as cheap as it gets man. good luck!

ok fellow roll it uppers.....my plant has been flowering for almost 4 weeks now and some of the pistils are starting to turn orange and some aren't. it seems to be hapening only to the main colas and not the side ones. is this normal and should i do something diferent. i just yesterday mixed...
