400w Club-Show Off Your 400w Pride And Joy

Hold off and rethink this one. At that height, your 400w HPS won't be able to penetrate the plant deep enough to make it worth while (i.e. end up with tons of whispy popcorn nugs at the lower colas). Get a screen (look up SCROG for more info) and gradually start to lower it on the plant...

    Connecticut Growers Read

Hello, If you are a CT resident then you already know that we have no good marijuana laws in this state. That being said, we are electing a new Governor in a matter of days and this is the seat in the local gov't that will have the most influence over CT's marijuana laws over the coming years...

The Official Canna Coco & Nutrients Thread

Anyone try using AN's Bud Candy with coco and Canna Coco A+B? I was thinking of giving it a shot but wanted to check and see if anyone has any previous experience. -Butters

can I go from hydro to soil?

The hydro to soil transplant will work fine and maybe just cause a little stress. But if you started hydro, you probably did so for good reasons (higher yield, more explosive growth, etc). Think about going with Coco coir. While it looks more like soil it retains all the positives of hydro...

Jack The Ripper: Spectrum Of Effects Report

Great report Hobbes. Very informative, well structured, and useful. What's been your experience with the high from Jilly Bean? I was looking at picking that up along with some JTR. -Butters

    First Journal, Master Kush/LemonSkunk/TrainWreck PICS!

I can vouch for these. Work like a charm come harvest time. As I'm running a perpetual myself, you'll find pretty quickly that you'll be looking for some of the more automated (or DIY) trimmers. Pain in the ass to do on such a frequent basis. :cuss: Interested to see how this one turns out...

can i top an autoflowering plant?

Yes but they're rather mediocre colas and the LST'ing needs to be done very early. The hormones that are at play in LSTing are still at play in auto strains as well so another cola will emerge. Just the timing makes it difficult.

NattyHead357's Pineapple Express SOG. Pics, Vids. Comments are allowed.

Fellow PE grower here. Great strain all around. Great head high, long lasting, great taste/smell. Easy to train and clone when growing in my experience. :blsmoke: It will no doubt perform wonderfully in a SOG set up as you are shooting for. From clone, they're not particularly...

can i top an autoflowering plant?

best bet is to use LST to try and get more colas. Topping is a no-no as the life cycle is too short to respond adequately to the stress that this causes. Much less plant stress with lst'ing.

Using a portable a/c inside a grow tent...venting in room ok?

...:eyesmoke: I searched endlessly for a degrees sign too. How is there not a degrees sign on keyboards these days :cuss:. I have a british pound symbol on my keyboard for f's sakes (I'm in US) but no freaking degrees sign! My guess is that I'll have to try running ducting...

Using a portable a/c inside a grow tent...venting in room ok?

The basement probably runs an even 75f at night when she is flowering and it's 90 degrees outside. Don't quote me on that but it should be pretty close. So, pulling 75f air through the air cooled hood would definitely lower temps in there. No doubt. But I'm really not sure how much...

White Poison - 2 liter Hempy SOG

This is quite simply the best looking grow on RIU in my opinion. Absolutely perfect looking Xare. And IAm5toned, I swear I must watch your avatar to it's completion every time I see a post of yours. Good stuff. -Butters

Using a portable a/c inside a grow tent...venting in room ok?

Thanks for all of the replies fellas, Desertrat hit on my concern about trying this right on the head. Sure, the tent would be cooler for some period of time, but the tent would be pulling in cool air from the portable a/c which would need to use the even-warmer air from the very...

Using a portable a/c inside a grow tent...venting in room ok?

Already flowering at night. Temps in 90's inside the tent! :fire: Just from a single 400watter too. :cuss: Getting an AC for a 3' by 3' by 5' space is absolutely f***ing crazy I know. Just no other options that I can think of. :dunce: Unfortunately, while I do have plenty of ACs in my...
