Everything I have is wither a full indica or an indica/sativa cross. Hog and the bagseed are almost full indicas. The Romulan, Poison, and Kryptonite are crosses but I'm sure none are over 25% sativa. In the future I do plan on growing out a full sativa or high sativa cross, but just 1 or 2 plants for personal smoke.

I'll get some pictures up later tonight but all the plants have recovered from their transplants and seem to be taking off. The Kryptonite I had originally had has bounced back in a big way from being fed 8.2 PH water for the first week of its life. It was getting a sickly shade of yellow and now it's getting green and bushy.

Patience friends, patience..

The seedlings first leaves look a little down-syndrome, kind of crinkly. I'll have a visual example up later. I had to use some tweezers to get the seed casing off the cotyledon when it popped out of the soil because the casing was hard as hell. I might have messed the first set of leaves that way but I'm not sure. Been friggin cold around here so I've been vegging them under the 1000w at about 3 1/2 feet away from the plants. Even so, the seedling is about 3 inches tall, not exactly spindly, but sort of stretched. I don't have to hold it up with anything and it does have a constant breeze on it, I'm just a concerned parent I guess. Its second set of leaves is popping out now and I'm hoping those don't come out retarded too..

I'll get some pics up here later tonight

:wall: FUUUUUUU

So I was watering my plants (I water away from the vegging area because I don't have saucers under the stupid things), as I was carrying the Hog pot I dropped it, spilling the soil and the plant on the floor. On a good note, the plants have been in their new pots for about 6 days now and the hog HAD roots all over the pot. On a bad note, most of those roots broke off when the pots was dropped. Pretty much set myself back about 6 days on that plant. Hopefully all of the other plants that I transplanted that day have a similar root mass developing.

Back to transplant shock on the Hog, ugh.

That sucks brother...but I like your postive outlook on the deal as far as the others having a good root mass. Also when I water my plants I get a spare 5 gallon bucket and put the plant inside of that, (pot and all obviously) HTH

So the little girls aren't yellow, there are 4 veg spectrum and 2 flower spectrum bulbs in the little area. That's why you see yellow reflecting off some of the leaves.

Only had 1 veg spectrum bulb before a couple days ago and the plants really seem to respond better to the 6500k cfls. I'll rotate the plants so their leaves are facing away from the 6500s and within 3-4 hours the plant is looking back at the 6500s. Something I thought I'd share.

The temps in the garage have been getting pretty low the past few days. I was complaining before about the plants getting down to 60 but last night is was nearer to 50 degrees out there. I'm thinking about getting a little space heater but I don't really want the added electricity bill from it.

weird? I thought I had posted somethign in your journal but I guess not. Well the Hog doesn't look too bad after the horror story you put up...looks behind your right but I think she'll be just fine. The Romulan has some serious node spacing should be a big big girl. Great job bro.

The Romulan only has 2 nodes that are like that, probably placed under really shitty light when it got to the dispensary. The top nodes and all the the new growth nodes aren't showing crazy stretch like that.

Went out to see the ladies today and roots were coming out of all of the 1 liter pots, even the Hog. I transplanted all of them into 2 gallon pots except for the seedling which is still in the 1 liter pot and probably will be for another 2 weeks or so.

Temperatures have been around 50 in the veg area so I have them in the flowering room vegging under the 1000w, temps are about 75 in there, nice and cozy for the ladies.

Transplanted using 15ml botanicare grow, 1ml of superthrive, 1 teaspoon of epsom salt (for some magnesium) per gallon. Also made a concentrated dose of great white and poured it on the rootballs of all the plants.

Possible pictures coming later on this evening.

Quick update!

After transplanting, the plants showed 0 signs of any sort of shock. Went from 1 liter to 2 gallon pots and guess what, ROOTS showing at the bottom of the container! It's been 2 days, I never thought roots grew so fast. Growing and learning with my plants.

The seedling actually has a little root popping out of the 1 liter container now and it's working at its second set of true leaves.

Hey man nice thread for so little pics. I read the part about gnats if you really want to get rid of them start in the soil with the larvae I read deep in a lost thread in here about mosquito doughnuts - WOW - they last 30 days in your soil for just crumbs I smash it up with a 3lb sledge and sprinkle some on top of soil ( I use coco ) and again in flowering Ive seen a dozen gnats in my room in 2 months with 69 pots if they lay eggs they never make to an adult they eat it and dead. Its organic so you use as much as you want (you dont need much ) It says you can put it in fish ponds horse troughs gardens on and on this shit works! Found mine at Ace for $14 - 1 does more than 69.

P1000217.jpg gnats most of the time just bug you. you really have to have um like unbelievable for them to do massive damage to your roots try this man a 6 pack like would last most people years and is worth every penny.

Thanks for that kpac and liberty, the problem only lasted a day, and there was a total of 3 gnats. They died when I met them. Those donuts seem great, I might have to look into them if the problem arises again.

I had some beer cans in the garage that I think the gnats were more attracted to, they always seem to pop up around them. After drinking I always clean the room now and put the trash outside. The grow is in my man cave and I have a few good friends come over and smoke/drink and play darts and poker and whatnot so I have to keep shit clean out there.

The ladies are doing great, massive growth since the last pictures. I try not to take too many pictures right now because, well, veg growth is sort of boring.

Something I want to share if any of you have a youtube account:

http://www.youtube.com/user/ALSKILOW1

That user is working with Extreme Gardening and they are giving away free boxes of their goodies as a promotion. I think all companies should do this and if the shit works like it says it does, I'll probably be buying from them in the near future.

The above video shows what you get with the free package, jump on this shit folks! Just send ALSKILOW1 a message :D
