live and learn my friend update tomorrow..I"m suffering from the horrible Jets win over the Pats tonight..but the girls are doing good and I've taken clones...pics, height, and all around update tomorrow..stay tuned..
Looking forward to it man!

One of the 2 WW seeds have cracked and is now in a party cup with coco, only took 12 hours on the first seed, still waiting on the second. Fresh seeds pop fast huh?

whoa 12 hours is awesome bro...can't wait to see when the other one pops...BTW are these feminized?
No, they are from a friend of a friend who grew a male in his crop for seeds. It's Nirvana's White Widow, hopefully I can get a solid keeper from these 5 beans. Germing 2 right now.

The second seed cracked and is now in a little cup of coco, 12 and 24 hours to crack. They're impressing me so far.

Green Crack starts on page 34, picked up the clone late. It's now 10 days into flowering and starting to bud up. I'll be updating it more now :D

I might have run into a mite problem from a certain plant that was given to me at the time. Don't judge too harshly, that plant didn't make it and Floramite killed the mites, haven't seen one since and TRUST me I look under the leaves all day like a madman.

Showing roots on the bottom of 1 Hog clone, it's been 10 days and I'm expecting the rest of the Hog to root any time now. This strain is working very well with my methods and is edging itself to being a keeper.

Don't jynx it!! >.<

No they're not, I highly recommend Floramite as the end all to the war. I was telling Budd that when the pictures start happening on the Green Crack I had mites.

Well shit, by the time I got around to taking pictures of the plants last night it was time to turn the ladies off :/ fail.

I guess I have to update with words, and we all hate that right?

Working from young to old here, both WW seeds have popped through the top of the coco now and are labeled WWa and WWb. Took both about 36 hours from placing them in water to them popping out of the coco, woot. Still sitting on the cable box for warmth.

All Hog clones (3) are now rooting, took 11 days and I've had 100% success so far with this strain. Still waiting on the 4 Green Crack clones and an ancient Romulan clone that's been in there for a month now. 0% success rate on Romulan so far cloning wise and I'll have to re-veg a piece of it after harvest in order to keep the strain around.

Have 2 plants biting at the bit to get into the flowering room now (Mexican Bagseed A and Kryptonite), they wont have a chance till next friday unless I toss one this friday and the other in the next.

I had mixed success with my cloning attempts too man. About 70% overall.
Sativa dom cuts are a pain in the ass, you have to take it at the right age I think. The Sour Cream and Sour Kush didn't really clone for me. All the indica dom stuff did though.

So what's with this CalCarb? Are you foliar feeding?

I did a foliar the other night with some Liquid Karma and Epsom Salt at about 350ppm in response to some issues a few plants are having. Apparently I've managed to do it again and burned like half the plants after transplanting... FML... The most recent run off EC for most of my plants is between 1.8 and 2.5 when feeding at 1.2... So I'm draining out twice what I'm adding...

Talk about build up... right?

I am feeding tomorrow at .8 EC, and again on Friday to see if I can get the run off for all my plants around 1.4 to 1.6. Then I'll be back in business. Creating this spreadsheet has helped me out soo much, I just wish I had it 4 weeks ago when I did the damage to my own plants by running a little too much food with not enough run off, even if it was just one time. Some of the plants look better than others, the Sensi Star could still eat more so that is all good, but there's a "level" about midway up the plants with a lot of sickly leaves. I'm going to remove them eventually because the necrotic tissue could create a foothold for mold.

Live and learn I guess. Oh well... at least the worst is behind me.
This experience just illustrates to me how great you're doing t0rn. Way to go.

CalCarb:
Calcium Carbonate Foliar Spray is Xtreme Gardening’s revolutionary calcium carbonate foliar spray which increases CO2 levels from 0.03 vol% (atmospheric level) to 0.1 vol% – the optimal level desired by plants. CalCarb utilizes a new form of nanotechnology which allows for topical application, which is applied just twice a month. Often, viewed initially with skepticism and deemed the most unbelievable” of all the products in the Xtreme Gardening Line, CalCarb delivers what no other product can – natural, time-released CO2,without the use of tanks and propane/natural gas burners.

How does CalCarb Work?

CalCarb is a proprietary calcium carbonate (CaCo3) which infiltrates plant leaves through the stomata. Once inside the intercellular space, it is converted into CO2 and CaO. CO2 increases photosynthesis levels, while the calcium strengthens the cell walls.

What Benefits will CalCarb Provide?

In a hydroponic setting, increasing water retention and drought resistance is ideal. You never know when your irrigation system may fail and leave your plants without moisture. CalCarb protects your plants from drought while providing an easy, economic, and eco-friendly alternative to tanks and burners, one that increases photosynthesis while leaving plants’ natural atmospheric state unaltered. Tanks and burners create a false environment, force feeding plants with exasperating and often harmful levels of CO2 which is later released into the atmosphere as carbon/greenhouse gases, reaking havoc upon the environment.
The Ca (calcium) strengthens the cell wall, making it more durable in harsh conditions, especially drought. Also, because plants utilizing CalCarb recieve carbon dioxide via the intercellular space, the stomata of the leaves no longer have to remain open trying to fixate it atmospherically. The stomata can now remain closed, significantly lowering transpiration and effectively increasing plant water retention by up to 75%! This means that the plant will survive with less water–up to 75% less water–which is ideal for saving money on irrigation during the hot spring and summer months.
The CO2 content of normal air is around 0.03 vol%, which isn’t the optimal level for photosynthesis. In a situation where there is sufficient nutrients and water, and abiotic factors such as temperature are favorable, the maximum level of CO2 for optimum photosynthesis rate is 0.1 vol%. CalCarb is able to provide the carbon dioxide needed to achieve optimum photosynthesis performance – effectively maximizing your plants growing potential.

At this point I'm feeding heavy only once a week and feeding 3 times a week. full, half, molasses, full, half, molasses, etc..

That spreadsheet you made has been a godsend for me as well man. It's too bad I don't have an EC meter yet to check the runoff, but the ladies aren't looking at me cross eyed yet.

My Calculator predicted an EC of 1.04 and I got 1.2, so it deviated by .16 (about 80ppm). This is a result of the Canna Coco A+B testing about 12% higher than it should. I compensate for that in my calculations now and it predicts REALLY close for my system when I do that.

For me, where the meter has been most useful is in watching the run off from the plants. I'm washing out about 550ppm every time in my run off when I feed. I was definitely running a little hot before flowering... I don't know why I wasn't doing all of this before hand. I had one plant run off go from 2.7 EC to 2.0 EC in just three waterings. I figure two more and they will all be back on track.

You had the right idea getting those trays. I'm working with saucers right now and have to use a little plastic tube to gravity drain each one individually. Takes about 5 minutes per plant to water... so yeah... I had planned on getting a kiddie pool but couldn't find the right one.

Always next time.
