Hey FLo... do you find that the sativa dom pheno's tend to take longer to show signs of flowering than the indica dom?

Yes, in my experience, but not by too much.
No more than a few days at most.
You noticed they take longer even more when they are growing next an Indica dom pheno from the same strain from seed.
Buds, leaves and branches are diff and noticable after a while too.

Well from what I learned earlier today, this Elite Ultimate ChemDawg 08 is supposed to be some very dank and potent shit.
They are straight HOGS though ! lol
Bitches wanna take over the tent and light.
Can't wait to harvest the Monkey's in a few weeks, so I can let them Chem's spread out their last few weeks.

My research on these Ultimate Chem's has led me to finding out that they are in fact some of Elite's MOST sought after gear. hehe
I DEFOLIATED the Chem's, wait 'til you see them NOW ! lol
This is the second time, and you seen how dense it was before this.
It'll grow back.
I did the Monkey's 3 times and look at them with their forest.

I am a fan of Indica strains and their couchlocking effect, but my lady likes the Sativas like most women ! lmao
The Indica dom pheno Monkey is already 50% milky 50% amber in the middle but the top is maybe 10% amber already.
It's an 8 weeker without a doubt but taking all 3 at 9 weeks. Starting the flush in 2.5 weeks !
Friday will be Day 35 Bloom for the Monkey's.
Turns out I have a solid Indica dom, a solid Sativa dom, and a good 50-50 hydrid.
I'll post pics of all 3 diff leaves later tonight.
Now the Chem's are a 9 week strain according to Elite.
They are on Day 10 Bloom today.
Taking them about that time too.
Day 63 bloom is on November 21st.

I'm pinching/bending constantly.
Don't give a shit if it slows them up a little or stresses them. See what they're made of !
No doubt about the leaves and heat, especially since I took my lens off my reflector.
Close up Monkey shots in a few hours, after lights out.
Sounds like a porn shoot ! lmao
Time to clear up some 12/12 grow info:
12/12 from seed is an excellent way to test what a strain is POSSIBLY capable of producing.
Pulling 10 - 30 gams, or more, from a small plant with no intentional extended vegetation period can give a good indication of growth pattern, traits and harvest.
You can also clone during the first 3 - 4 weeks and use that as a mother plant while harvesting something to test/taste sooner.
The misconception is that the plant is in bloom the entire time it has sprouted.
This couldn't be further from the truth.
You can't FORCE cannabis to show sex and flower until IT is ready to do so.
So even under 12/12 from seed, it still grows in a short vegetative period that usually last the first 3 - 4 weeks, then it shows sex and flowers.
IMHO, topping and training will increase your yield as well.
Unless you want to do a SOG with as many as you choose and keep/eliminate what you choose also.
Yield will be better with good hybrid mixtures, IMO.
Indicas will stay shorter than "normal" and yield less, unless trained/topped.
Sativas will STILL stretch like mad and yield pretty good but may need to be trained/topped.
In all honesty, I expect to dry yield no less than 4z's from the Monkey's !!
