I used coco, lava pebbles, and worm castings for the medium and she was under a 180W LED. I thought I use 16oz cups but I just checked the bottom and they're 18.5oz cups.

I was definitely happy with the 22 grams. I would grow that way reguarly if it wasn't such a hassle with the constant watering.

Hey man are you leaving the lights turned on 24/7? Good luck! i'm doing the same with CFL look my thread up, could use some help im a new grower lol

All 5 of these plants are doing great.. 2 out of the 5 are short, while the others are very tall, so I'm hoping the two small ones are female.. Thats usually how it goes for me and in nature.. the males are taller so they can spread their pollen on top of the female.. but who really knows..

They are 17 days old.. I started a light feeding regimen, put my nutrients and additives in a gallon of water and used it on all of the plants.. When the gallon runs out, I will up the feeding.. Right now, I am using 5 ml of Grow, 7.5 ml of Liquid Karma, and 7.5 ml of Sweet.. I also added 7.5 ml of Hydrorush cause my roots love it..

Annnnnd, I still plan on getting a PH tester, because thats about the only thing keeping me from a perfect grow.. I usually dont have any PH issues, but it couldnt hurt to check it and make sure its at the right level..

You guys wanted updated pics, so I took a couple.. Also, meet my new cat, her name is "Willow".. She loves my grow spot, shes always sneaking around in there..

they look good. You said you need a ph meter? In a soil grow you only need to check soil ph. and changing soil ph takes a long time. theirs know reason to ph water because it doesnt change the ph of the soil and the water immediately buffers to whatever your soil ph is.

when you get soil test it before you grow..some nutrients can change the ph so you can add in some things like dolomite lime so by the time the nutrients affect the ph so the lime will start working as well and neutralize the affect.

You need to check the PH of the water before you give it to your plant.. Wrong PH can have adverse effects on your plants.. also, i've heard that soil ph testers arent very reliable..

Today I was looking the plants over and I noticed some balls poking out of the internodes on one of the plants.. The biggest one.. So I chucked it. Now I'm left with 4 plants.. Still hoping for two females.. Chances are getting slim now.. :sad:

I found a female in my grow spot yesterday.. It was one of the taller ones I thought were sure to be males.. So I've got the female and three undecided.. Still hoping for two females, so I can get started on an outside monster.. If i only have one, oh well, it will still be my party cup grow so no worries..
