12/12 from seed questions

You were asking advice on a strain that you claimed to have bred yourself and were stabilizing (yeah right). Yet you don't know enough to figure out yellowing leaves. You're not sure why I would comment on what you produce, when you boast but have plants that look like that? You're fronting like you have experience when clearly you don't. Wannabes are fucking lame.

My apologies. I didn't realize 17 years of growing outdoors was worthless information when coming indoors. I'll take that into consideration next time. You don't really need to grow indoors when you live in East Tennessee in the mountains.

And read that thread again, there buddy. It wasn't me asking about yellowing leaves. It was about leaves that refused to go yellow and asking if anyone had ever had that happen to an OG indoors. Yikes, again, reaching dude...

Assholes are fucking lame.

I never claimed to breed the OG, again, you should read. I have had that cut for very long time now.

I said that I bred an OG x Lemon Skunk, that yes, is being stabilized. Have you ever bred a plant before? It's really not as hard as you think it is to back-cross genes a few times. Timely? Yes, I am on generation 3 right now. Hard? No, not at all.

Want to germ one of my seeds and see?

I wouldn't consider you an experienced grower based on your posts.

This isn't a garden run by a good, experienced grower. It's a noob garden. You have no business busting someones balls with those skills. Lol.
Full disclosure, the ball busting comes a little bit more prom pickpocket's side since he's been spamming "only idiots use cfls" in every thread he can find them mentioned in, despite the abundant evidence to the contrary. (Although he also says Indicat's video doesn't work when it works perfectly fine, so maybe he is just cursed with nothing working for him, be it youtube videos, CFLs, or completing grows)

Lmao! Yeah, right 17 years.

No they all came from a seed stock that I have had saved from an original OG Kush pheno that I bred outdoors in Tennessee and tried to stabilize.
Keep faking it bro. Buy some more single seeds and claim them to be your own work. Why show off tons of pics of your weak ass indoor grow but none of your super professional outdoor shit, grown with 17 years of experience?

I don't really care. It bugs me to see a noob on their first grow lying about experience and calling someone else out on lies.

I don't understand what you quoted that says I bred/created the OG I started with? I have stated in numerous threads it started as a cut. I've gotten seeds from hermies in the mix before. If you wanna grow 'em out to save a seed stock, you have to breed the hermie trait back out of it most of the time. Stabilizing doesn't always equal creating your own strain. That's why people use the term pheno instead of strain.

Now my OG x Lemon Skunk? Yeah. I *created* that one. 100%. That one is 100% mine. Mine. Yokel's. This guy's. That's why I call it Tennessee Og or Tennessee Kush. I don't really have a name for it yet. It was made from my last outdoor grow before moving to Cali because I didn't know if my clones would make it on the car trip.

And yes, my original clones made it, if you were wondering. The genes live on.

"why indoor and not outdoor"

And you really don't read up on people before calling them out do you? I've stated many times in many threads the reason I moved indoors is because it's illegal to grow outdoors in my County in SoCal that I recently moved to. I am a legal grower now, so I prefer to follow the law and not get harassed.

I only grow my own strains at the moment. I don't have any "designer" strains in my tent... Just my own OG strain and my OG x Lemon Skunk that I bred.

It is my own OG strain. If I'm the only person that owns it, I don't know how else to describe other than "my own OG strain".

Would you prefer "Just an OG strain I have had for 7 years that I have the only cut of..."

What part of my OG came from a clone that I didn't breed are you not grasping. I'm wondering. What other form of English should I use? The seeds, yes, I bred and am trying to stabilize.

My OG x Lemon? Yes, I 100% bred that myself and it is 100% MY strain. Mine.

My OG clone? Is a completely different pheno altogether... Seriously, I'm not sure how else to drill it through to you.

Fancy posting some of them OG x Lemonskunk beans across the pond ? Could always fire you back some, I just can`t say no to Redneck kush, lol

Haha ~ The veterans are right on point here. Nanometers . Lumens. PAR. Elementary, my dear Watson as any true ganjasaur knows these terms. It is in the UV-a and b, c, that we find cannabinoids serve their true purpouse. Swelling with protective resins, the glands produce high levels of THC and all related analogues. Anyone who doesn't recognize this aspect is missing out (on their brain?) - 8-)

ok guys i need help. iv got a healthy little seedling growing under 18/6 (6500k 18watt x2 CFLs) i know i know... but iv been looking up the 12/12 from seed regimen, and what i would like to know is if i go with 12/12, should i keep the cool whites (6500k's) while its in 12/12 untill i see it start to bud? or should i be using warm whites (2700k) ? From what i know, 6500k is better for veg. and i imagine it wont bud yet lol, so the obvious choice would be 6500k? or no? Because i have only 10 and half weeks to grow this plant, i want to do it as fast as possible and have a harvest in 10 weeks. So would it be wise to keep it under 12/12 with 6500ks or 2700ks? And will 12/12 have a negative effect on the veg stage? Will only 12 hours of light slow down the growth signifigantly? or minor-ly? lol. please help.
CS, I can tell you how I do it. I only use a single 65w 2700K CFL to start seeds and veg them for a month on 12/12. After this time, the most vigorous plants usually show pistils. I transplant into an organic mix and put the tray under the 400-watt Lamp. The growth becomes Explosive after that. The plants continue their pre-flower stretch and usually double in height by the time they stop stretching. Some strains (equatorial sativas) will triple in height. I have used this method with good results for some time now. I 've heard of people running 12/12 from seed under a 400w and yielding nearly an oz. per plant with this method. A bud on a stick- minimal side branching. My advice: Indoors, we want to concentrate on bud production as every lumen is precious. In makes no sense to grow larger plants (unless you have KILO -Watts @ your disposal). Usually, with 400w or less, you want to go for a SOG -type grow so the relatively small plants receive light ALL The way down to the bottom of the canopy. Any light that is not penetrating the canopy effectively is useless. So, in order to grow indoors with optimal results, you have to take all this into account. The blue (6500k) spectrum WILL flower plants, don't worry. Just use a blue spectrum bulb to start seed/veg and then move them to a bigger light (MH/HPS) to really get those pistils going. As long as you provide adequate lumens per sq. ft. / you will be fine. Interesting claim: I've heard going 12/12 from seed while using a blue -spectrum will increase the female to male ratio. Just use blue light (6500K) from seed, until they start showing (about 1 month). Transplant, move to a bigger light and watch them explode.

DSCN0866.JPG The girls a few weeks ago in their little germination/veg box. 1 65w 2700k CFL does the job here. 20 oz. party cups sustain the girls in their early stages of growth. I topped them all @ the 4th node. None were showing pistils at that time. Transplant, give them what they need... and watch out! It's really that simple.
PS- They grow so fast in my current HID set up, that I'm constantly running to give them more water, as they drink nearly a gallon per day now. I just bottom-water the plastic kitty-litter tray, they soak it all up quickly, then show me results.
