1st CFL Grow....here we go

So far, they're all 57 days old, or 8.1 weeks old. They've been in 12/12 for 4.3 weeks.

The good news is the harvest will be scattered. Lisa, Minnie and Tessa will be ready WAY before Veronica...and even after that, the baby will be weeks after that. Between now and then I'm going to put the clones on 24/0, so they'll be ready for 12/12 about the time the girls are getting harvested.

I just went and spent about an hour with the girls. They're happy now. I watered them, rearranged some lights, rearranged the girls, and took ph levels. Everything's holding at right at 7. Next watering, I'll add something to lower it. I added 1/4 dosage of Shultz Liquid Cactus Food (2-7-7) just to give them something to munch on while I figure out what's best to give them.

I rearranged them because the fan was blowing right on Veronica's big fan leaves and they were starting to show it. I trimmed some yellowed fan leaves on the bottom, took pictures, measured, and tucked them back away.

Left to right, back row, we have Minnie, Tessa, Veronica, and in the front row, IThinkICan, and Lisa.

I'll post measurements in a second.

Looking good! Your plants look so much more controled than mine. How did you get them to grow into basically colas?!?! Did you top?

Veronica has such big fan leaves, the fan blew them into the lights. Some of the tips are singed, but she's good and healthy. I've moved her away from the fan so her delicate leaves can firm up. Hopefully she'll prove thankful for it.

Her hairs are filling in in dark contrasting colors of dark green and white hairs. No signs of trichomes, yet, but her Sativa dominance is proving true that they take their time.

Lisa seems to be the furthest along. Some of the hairs are starting to turn an orangey/brown color. Then again, I've leaned more towards underwatering instead of overwatering, so it could be thirst, too. :)

Moderate trichs, all clear to cloudy. No signs of amber.

Tessa seems to be happier on her bottom now that I topped her. She's more of a bush now. I really have to look twice now to tell the difference between her and Lisa.

Lots of trichomes showing. Through the scope they're all clear to cloudy. You can see them with the naked eye now.

Minnie is really thriving! Her cola unexpectedly starting showing pink. Her hairs are pink! Sweet! I've seen that somewhere...can't find it now. Anyone know what strands show pink? +rep for anyone that can tell me.

She's the one I'm most anxious about. Her leaves are just COVERED with trichs....looks like she was dipped in syrup and sugar. ...and now we have PINK! How cool is that?

The Baby, IThinkICan, is now 11 3/4". She's tall, gangly, and has about 2" between each of her only six nodes. All of a sudden we have hairs. I think she just earned herself a bigger pot and just a little more attention. I'm thinking of renaming her Olive Oil.

For Lisa, I attempted LST, so her stem is all crooked. Her branches were staked out to get light so they're starting to create their own colas.

for Tessa, I cut off her long skinny top so the bottom could get the growth energy.

Veronica is tall and a la naturale. Minnie is as well, though she's in a smaller pot, so she hasn't reached her full potential.

I just put Minnie's clone in dirt and put her under a single 18/6 light. I'll keep her there for about 3 weeks, then put her over under 12/12. If she shows signs of being healthy, I may just keep her under 24/0.
