Look online you can find them at hardware stores target has them as well as midwest grow kits
Im pretty cheap lol. I refuse to buy those jars rn at an inflated price because every soccer mom and football dad thought they'd be canning this fall. I dont like the idea of having to wash out older jars, but i plan on hand washing, bleaching, then pressure cooking.
Nice job on your first run.

Look o
Look on YouTube hit me with questions this is my first mushroom cultivation
Found a couple of videos! Thank you

seems pretty simple!Going to have to try next time or with rest of what is left.

to get the most yield, 10 Uncle Ben bags or like a 2lb bag?

I guess that would be like comparing a cake to the multiple jars right?

Try one bag with 1cc divided in 2 inoculation points

The trick with the uncle bens is your dont need a pc your substrate (brown rice) is already hydrated and sterilized in the package just inoculate and spawn to coco and verm

Have you guys been on this site before? My boy put me on a while back as he did with this site, but took me forever to actually make an acct here.

This poster seems like they have their shit down.
Absolutely look into oven tek inoculation...inoculation is the biggest risk for contamination ive never used them and i dont trust Amazon shipping practices or materials handling to be any where near sterilized but it could work. You have enough spores to experiment with though pick up some jars or something its cheap bro

"A bulk substrate contains a lot of food and a lot of water which mycelia can use for mushroom production. Also, a colonized bulk substrate is highly resistant to contamination. Fruiting bulk substrates (with or without casings) can be a highly productive endeavor but you can’t directly inoculate bulk substrates. You have to spawn bulk subs (in “open” air) with crumbled cakes or colonized grain. Also, because of the open air thing, you need to Pasteurize (instead of sterilize) bulk substrates. Although working with bulk subs can be more productive, working with bulk subs can be intimidating and frustrating (especially at first).

Cakes are great because the substrate remains in a sterilized/filtered environment until it is fully colonized. The fully colonized cake is highly resistant to contamination when it is finally birthed and fruited in “dirty” air."

This guy buckaroo definitely has some skills
