Ditch the foil and get some mylar. foil contracts alot of heat and with the bulb you are useing thats not good. Mylar is also more reflective. Good luck.

Thats Aluminum Tape for seams. The shit looks like foil because it was one of those safety blankets, all folded up into a tiny little package. lol. Im actually going to rip it all down and redo it with an adhesive so it sticks to the wall better.

And as for heat, it wouldnt be a bad thing out there. The box is in my shed outside and its still the end of winter here. So i need it to hold as much heat as possible while the lights are off. it drops below 10C out here at night.

haha, i bought one of those safty blankets for my veg. room and it had a sticker on it that said something like "Materials inside known to the state of California for birth defects and impotency" lol so i just decided to throw it away

First 3 pics are of the medium plant on the left hand side. my second kush plant. have some yellowing in the top leaves for some reason and some copperish colours in the bottom ones?

The larger kush plant is droopy and i have removed all of the burned leaves. im not sure if it will live.

the thai stick in the fron of the third picture is looking healthy still but a little droopy.

Its pretty cold out there when the lights are off and we just had snow the other day. not sure if these babies will make it.

I have started a new journal for my new babies. link is in my signature. hopefully by the time they are ready to go outside it will be warmer. im going to try to veg them in my small box for at least another 3 weeks. hopefully they dont get too large on me! they seem to be doing great!

theres no nutes in the kush plant on the left hand side. its all natural soil with no additives. pH is at 6.

plants have been looking worse each day. tooooooo colllllllld!

so i went to walmart and bought a $40 Airworks Mini Oil Space Heater. Its energy efficient and only consumes 700watts instead of the normal 1500watts.

I have been adjusting the heater all night going in every hour or so and checking the temp in my shed. Im sure I have t between 15-20C now. Im going to check it once more before I go to bed tonight just to be safe.

I noticed some roots in the bottom the the pot of the thai stick so i replanted. Within 20 minutes I noticed the leaves perking up!!! I didnt have any more pots but there was room in one of the kush plants pots for some more soil. almost another 2" in the pot. so i took the plant out and added soil to the bottom. im going to look for larger pots either on payday or tomorrow if i can scrape together enough change. I sacrificed some of the lower sun leaves on the replanted kush plant as well to promote some lower growth!

I will post more pics when my babies look healthier!

With thermostat You can controll temperature. Just adjust temperature You need, and heater will automaticly start working, when the temps are below, for example, 20 degrees.
I doubt they are expensive.

yeah i already got one with a thermostat. it cost me $40. its an Airworks mini oil filled heater and its only 700 watts. Ive been playing with the tempurature to get it right for the last day and a half. thanks though

Plants are looking MUCH healthier and happier since the new space heater was introduced. I have the temperature 18C constantly in my shed now. Noticed new growth in my kush plant just overnight with the new heater.

This is great because I havnt seen any growth at all since I swapped these babies over to my flower cabinet. Its been about 8 days since i put them in flower and havnt seen any signs of sex yet. this is all because it was too cold. my smaller kush plant looks pretty bad right now but i think shes going to get all pretty again now that shes nice and warm. Heres some pics with the plants alot more perky than yesterday!

funny thing happened. My htai stick plant just started getting much larger than my kush plant! anyways all i have left is the two plants. still waiting for the sex to show for the thai stick. hopefully today when i get home from work or tomorrow. yipee! temp is sitting between 20-30C.

im also attaching a picture of the mini heater i bought in case anyone is interested in what i tmight look like if you need to get one!

i inherited a new 1000watt HPS light for almost nothing from a buddy and set it up in a larger grow area. my grow area is now:

40" deep X 6ft wise X 68" tall

The light was only used for a month several years ago and has been sitting in storage since. it came with a fixture and ballast. My kush is flowering and the thai stick isnt yet. I also have my next 3 babies in there with them.
