2 1/2 weeks old and nutrient burn?!

Hey guys so I have 2 plants , one Girl Scout cookies and one strawberry cough . So everything was fine the first week and half and originally they were planted in a 1/2 gallon pot , using fox farm ocean soil and so based of a YouTube video of a known grower I went ahead and transplanted them in 5 gallon pot to finish the rest of its cycle( they were growing fast in size)

Anyhow a few days ago I noticed claw leaves showing which according to the website source it’s “nitrogen toxicity” . I have not given them any nutrients other than what is in the soil.
RH is 50-57% , temps are 76-78 , using a Marshydro ts2000 30inches away from top canopy. Tent is a 3x3 . Please see pictures below

A little transplant shock maybe, over water a little maybe.Did you mix up the bag of soil first or just pour some in the pot?

i poured new soil into the 5 gallon pot. However I think I might be over watering it . Been watering every 2 days
Bagged soil can have hot spots, sitting for who knows how long.Always dump out the whole bag and mix it and let it sit.Water it so its uniform then transplant.Shouldn't need water for a few 3-5 days then.

okay so at this point don’t water for 3-5 days until completely dry right?

What you should do is feel the weight of the pot when it is dry and the plants are thirsty. Then feel it when it’s saturated and heavy. Water when the pot feels light, that way you never under water or over water. It’s a bit harder with bigger pots because they are a bit heavier. When I was in my 3 gallon pot I was watering almost a half gallon if not more every day because my plant was drinking it all up

Sound like you are getting good advice.
I thought this site might help you out as well:

Good Luck with your grow,
