30% of population overall are non-white (latino and black people). 30% of all arrests are non-white, so no bias is revealed there. Yet non-whites account for about 60% of the prison population.

Are you really so foolish as to say there isn't bias in our justice system that explains the incarceration rate?

I did my turn. I just don't blame the COPs for societies problems. Police come into contact with criminals 100's of not 1000's of times a day & have to use their instincts & training to survive. mistakes are made. The fact that today criminals are so quick to shoot each other (60 in a weekend in Chicago) tells the police all they need to know about who they are dealing with.

I don't see prison guards killing inmates. Even when they have weapons. At least not often. There'd be an interesting stat. Who kills more police or prison guards. If police are at a higher rate that should tell you something. Since the guards have the worst of the worst already.

I wonder how many were killed during prohibition on a 4th of July weekend in Chicago. Its always been violent there. I dont blame police for the problems of society but when they become part of the problem I do. 1000s of criminals in a day
