Dr doom thrip killer works very well, i bombed the tent twice in veg last grow, they never came back. Treated soil with safer's end all. I hate thrips.

freeze an OZ
freeze 500 mls of IPA 99% or booze around the same..if you can which you can
put all in freezer over night.. with a mason jar
put frozen oz in jar
add frozen ipa

shake vigorously for three minutes..
dump through stainless steel strainer.
now double up coffee filters and strain what you have. dont rush it..should take about 30 mins to filter
now put it in a rice cooker and boil off until there's only enough for half a baby food jar
ad to jar.
put the jar in an oil bath on stove at 170 degrees F and watch it finish bubbling....
raise it until 190 slowly
once it stops bubbling yer done

takes about 2 to 3 hours total
you will get anywhere from 3 to 9 grams if yer lucky of cherry oil

If you just tilt the rice cooker near the end and keep the liquid close to the side of rice cooker you can finish the process and watch the bubbles boil off. The bottom/side when on tilt is not hot enough to burn however if you fail to tilt near the end the middle of rice cooker will definitely burn and liquid as the middle is the hottest part of the rice cooker. But just for my own sake I bought a 10 dollar coffee maker and I let the oil sit on that over night in the baby jar.
If your not planning on making a shit ton of oil than and only 3-5 grams then a baby jar is probably 2 deep.
Have a coffee maker that will never see coffee and a rice cooker or 2 that’ll never see a grain of rice.

dont do that. lol
.its near impossible to get it out of the cooker and its a better control of heat in an oil bath.
finishing in a rice cooker is not something I would suggest to anyone
unless they have a lot.
..an oz's worth like im talking here is about as small an amount I would suggest to make. smaller can be done but different ways to keep all your meds.
my way................................ you get it all.....

I see your point but it can be done. To each their own.

Ya they both have there pros and cons.
When I can afford 1500-2000 cash I’ll probably grab one.
But for now the 17 dollar bottle of iso is more affordable. As long as iso is respected it’s safe.
