Does anyone have an experience with running OG clones in New England? I would imagine the dense buds just wouldn’t work here but was curious. Tahoe cut..
I know it's not a OG cut, but I have ran Oregon green seeds - Oregon grown OG (Ghost OG x Iranian Early Flower) with good results outdoors. I know deb talks about the Iranian taking about two weeks off the finishing times of everything it pollinates. It finished late September - early October for me. So I would expect Mid October for a pure OG cut? I'm sure an og cut could finish with a hoophouse out East along with some special care. Oh and there is always light dep.:bigjoint: Anyone else out there with some insight?

Grew a Blackwater OG last year in RI. Even with the shitty weather last year I did well. You really need to be on top of moving them at the end of flower into shelter from rain or your guaranteed bud rot. especially if it was anything like last year. Also, I suggest putting a fan on them...if possible at the end of flower, especially early morning with the morning dew, and especially when they do get rained on if you don't get them to shelter. Just helps move more air around them and help from the buds staying moist.

Other than that, OG's do very well in New England seeing that they are very Indica dominant and OG's are usually very hearty plants. They usually do better in wild crazy unpredictable weather like here in New England than most stains do. They usually have shorter flowering times too, which is a plus in New England seeing it gets cold fast.

Nice, I kinda figured as much. These are for my dad who is getting older but has been cultivating for 40 years. He’s never seen a quality clone so this should be fun for him. I’m going to keep them really small and let him enjoy them on his deck in a sub irrigated planter connected to an automatic watering system. If I have an extra cut I will probably stick one in the ground in an amended big hole in the back of their lot and tell him not to water or do anything and see what happens.

what's everyone plan on growing this year?

At the moment I'm testing indoors Maui Wowie, Bubba Kush, (Kosher Kush Breath x mendo montage), Salami Leg, Silky Johnson and a couple of my own crosses, Johnnywide (white widow x silky johnson) and a no name (johnnywide x peanut butter breath)

I have high hopes for the Maui Wowie ... the cut came from an old friend in Hawaii... we served together in the late 90's, he taught me how to grow back then, and we've been in touch ever since

I know it sounds screwed up.... why would a strain from Hawaii do well in New England? ... my answer is, I don't know and it's a total shot in the dark. He tells me it's done really well out there for the last few years in very high humidity and has never showed sign of mold... i'm going with it ... It's supposed to be a sativa leaning bud structure on an indica shaped plant

I haven't fired up the flower tent yet... just been pulling clones from the strains I have vegging now ... based on where they are now I should have the tent fired up within the next couple weeks.
maybe call the no name chumba wumba if it deserves it? xD Glad to see you going at another season bro, hope u kill it this season. I'm gonna give it a go this round but with some tiny plants lol. Expecting the worst
ooohhh johhny boy... haha im always down to throw names out there. Creativity in groups

On another note. Has anyone heard of a strain called mass electric? I have one seed from a bud but tried to look up the genealogy and had no luck. Maybe one of our fellow mass heads may know?

You could try cool beans seedbank. So far their customer service has been nothing but Stellar. They may have what you are looking for. And they hook you up with lots or freebies.

They don't call it weed for nothing!!!! It may have revegged on its own and shot up a new stem!
I'm blown away at how resilient these plants are. Seen some crazy weather conditions in other growers pics and brutal stress testing.
Yes I believe I have used them. I have some seeds from them I'm saving for.a.relative, who lives in Paradise, Maine, I think.around there. Will post pics later.

Ok SF, ask and you shall receive.
This year I went nuts.
No, I mean completely nuts, as I misplaced my seed bank box!
Time ticked towards the middle of April, and I'd torn the place apart. I'll make this part short, I found them today! A little late, but ok. Got the key cups out and a marker.
First ones I found were on a necklace with a small ceramic cork. I gotta go from memory here because the old lady's asleep next to me and its 5am.
Gelato
Jack Herer
Super bud
Cheese quake
Creme De la creeme x something
Sunny Days
And damn, just gonna post the list in the morning. Good to be back and started up again.
Blessings on your crop this season.

Here it is guys, 2022 ... my whole family is locked down with the rona ... my son's out shooting baskets, my daughters are making tik toks, my wife's yelling at everyone, and I'm searching through strains for this years greenhouse candidates that won't mold .... I can't believe we shut down the world for a runny nose.

In this batch the left row is Balkhi 1st gen repros, middle row is Rustam Kush from Afghanistan, and on the right is Sholgar, Afghanistan. Took a couple tries to get the 5 Balkhi repros, shells are thick and next time I will sand the seams. The Rustam Kush popped fast and easy and are vigorous. 4 of 5 Sholgar popped, they too had thick shells so when I get around someday to the other 5 I have left I’ll sand them too before popping.

None of them will set any growing records on the windowsill, probably max 6” and 4th or 5th nodes. Another month and outside they will go, where they want to be.

Wow, same exact keg cups, now with ridges! Here's my list....

Shaman - Dutch Passion
Gelato
Putang x Spiced Jack
Creme de la creme x Forest Stomper
Sunny Days
Jack Herer - my Favorite
Superbud

Double Grape x 3 Bears
Platinum Dosi x Cheesequake
Waziri 1 - 2 , B

Now the last one, Waziri, was a gift from a friend, and came in two bags, with somewhat cryptic notations, W1, W2, a small piece of blue painters tape with a letter B. Anyways, most of these have 1,2 or 3 seeds per cup.

Some of them are femanized, some are autoflower, only Sunny Days I started with many, as I had those in bulk. Interesting looking kiwi green colored seeds. Yea I got a late start, don't seem like much now, but at the end of the season, when every day matters, it'll seem important then.
Wish I was as far as the post above e me, P59teitel, looks great.
