Yes sir I did! And you are correct, LacysClone was taken in flower. The lights are about a foot away in the pix, I'm working on finding/building something for them to sit on so that they're a lot closer to the light's... Just haven't gotten around to it yet, they're still little, and not stretching really... I'll try to get that done tonight if I can.

ya with cfls u want to be as close to the light as possible without burning them, but a foot away is pretty far, just use some bricks and put the plants on top of them

Ok so I built a stand and the plants are now closer to the lights. No need to worry about that anymore. WooHoo! hahaha, I'll take some new pix tonight. Of the girls in the veg room closer to the lights. And of the big girl in flower. I'm thinking it's getting real close to chop chop time! :) I hope so nayways! I've been spotting more and more amber colored trich's!

Alright. Took some new pix. The first few 2 going to be of the veg box that I have completed now. Just going to put 1 more fan in there to lower the temp.

The last few pix are of Lacy girl. I plan on chopping down here in a week or so... maybe a few days longer... I need her dried and cured by March 12... There are a few amber. I'd say about 10%, most are cloudy tho. But I'm leaving for vacation on march 12, and she's gotta be ready to come with me!

So9, how long would you guess a GOOD dry and cure should take??? Cuz If I harvest by monday, dry for a week. By then the date would be 4/22. That means I would have 17 days to cure it. Would she be "DANK" by then? lol, this would be my first harvest, so I'm not exactly sure about the drying and curing process... I've read about it for hours. But really just need to DO it to actually KNOW what's up. Just lookin for a little input.

Enjoy!

looks great, sorry about that plant that you chopped, what a waste of time.

Yea in order to get the best smell and flavor for harvest, chop the whole plant
and hang the whole thing, dont cut leaves off until it is completely dry, when I say
dry, it should take around 8 days for the stem between the dense buds to snap
between your fingers, when this happens trim the hell out of them and jar them up
immediately, trust in this, you will not regret it.

Drying is the most key part of the whole smell and flavor department,
not flush.

Smell and flavor are related to the chloraphyl in the plant matter, while
the harshness, and burning of the throat and lungs is described when
smoking herb which hasn't been flushed properly.

You need to allow all of the chloraphyl to release while drying, but the problem
is that chloraphyl is only released and a certain rate, which is much slower
than water is allowed to release, you must allow adequate time to dry, and
the humidity needs to be around 35-45%, this allows the buds to stay moist
long enough to allow the chloraphyl to escape. It should take around 8 days
for the stem between the buds to be dry enough to snap when bent.

Tips:
Do not cut up individual branches when harvesting and hanging, this
allows the moisture to escape too quickly!

Do not trim the buds of their leaves before they are completely dried,
this also allows moisture to escape. Also this is KEY for the curing process,
a properly dried bud will smell MAGNIFICENT right after it is done being
trimmed. Trimming allows the terpenes to really expose themselves and
this causes excess moisture within the leaves and buds to allow the bud
to "sweat" and this is needs to happen right before the buds are jarred,
if you do this before you dry them, what happens to the terpenes? They are
released in to the air and dissipate, you need to do this before you jar them
and then the buds sit and bask in their own dankness..... This is how the
curing process begins. The dispenseries here in boulder buy my meds the
same day that I trim them because they smell as if they have already been
cured, but really, they were dried properly.

P.S. Love this state! Res of the 719 right here bro! Boulder is SICK tho!

Thanks bro!

After much closer inspection last night, I saw that about 70% of my fan leaves are pure yellow, and about 20% are actually turning red, with only about 10% green left on the plant. So I decided last night that this morning would be the day. The day to chop!

So I harvested her about 45 minutes ago, hung her up in my closet with good ventalation (No air blowing on the plant tho) and am now waiting for about 8 days to trim up. I cut absolutely NOTHING off the plant, just cut the stock and hung her upside down! and DAMN was she stinking and looking pretty!

I didn't get any pix because I had to leave right away for work, and also had to try and get that incredible aroma off of my body. But I will take some tonight!

My first harvest, and boy let me tell you, it feels GOOD! I just can't wait for the next couple weeks to go by now! :)

anyones man grats again cant waid to see some pics
:blsmoke:

Hey thanks man! I think I've read that before, but went ahead and read it again, ya know, for good measure! You can never have to much information! hahaha, well... I got some pix of the harvest. Some of the whole plant, and some of her hanging up to dry! I haven't weighed it yet, don't even want to bother untill she's dry. Anyways here's the pix, enjoy! :bigjoint:

nice harvest man, i thought u werent gonna chop it up and just let it dry as a whole plant, and it would be best to dry in the dark also. hey shrubs, i was thinkin if u doidnt cut any leafs off when u dry then wont the plant smell like hay cuz i know when the leafs dry up they smell like shit, and taste like shit, so wouldnt that affect the buds as they dried with the dying leafs.

Thanks man! And I was gonna dry the plant as a whole, but I got drunk last night and decided that it would be better to dry each branch individually. Just because of the LST, they we're SO close together, I didn't think they would dry in the middle of the plant. So I did that.

And I know, don't worry it's pitch fucking black in there were they're drying, lol! Those lights aren't on. That's my flower room, and since I only had 1 plant in flower (the others are in my veg box). I decided to use that room to dry in. I just unpluged the intake fans so no air is blowing ON the buds, unpluged the lights, and only have the exhause fan running with the buds hanging in the dark to dry. :hump:
