thanks smith. ya the carbon filter basically can be ran seperate with its own inline fan.

take the can seal one end stand it up on that end and connect the fan to the top side (so it sucks air thru the filter and out the top) and the fan cfm (cubic feet per minute ratio) should b equal to the volume of ur room) IE: 10x10x10=1000sqft (1000cfm or around that best)
our fan is 1075cfm.
the can is 75lb charcoal filter and needs to be changed every year. most growers do it sooner just for in case security reasons.
hope this helps

ALSO NEW PIX COMING SOON!

no co2 yet were doin this first grow kinda like a test run make sure everything is able to be controlled and he learns wat hes doin cuz i had to teach him everything and were still finding new things out as we go. figured why waste $1000 in supplies and $25 every week in c02 if we just end up fukn it up haha.
but anyways next grow in 2 months we will be doin c02 with the funds we get from this yield.

hey guys btw we decided for our organic tea to just use a 32gallon trashcan with a larger pump to bubble the tea in so we have enough food for the plants cuz the 5gallon buckets just dont cut it very well.

but does anyone know where to get that large of a pump to bubble the water or make one? fish store home depot hydro shop? etc let me know thanks

Any pet store that deals in fish products will have inexpensive airpumps for you. Just make sure you buy several air stones because they will need to be cleaned somewhat frequently and they are fragile, so they beak often. Stay away from the tube type attachments because they clog way to easy, air stones are the way to go. Most larger air pumps will have an attachment for two hoses which will be nice for your set up to keep the tea bubbling consistently throughout.

ya were lookin for one single pump and hose. the airstones are pretty small. they work good for the 5gallon buckets tho

glad to see ure still rollin B!
u gonna start a new indoor grow journal?
I am. I'll make sure to post the link. gotta a few things I gotta move around and put up before hand. also waiting for my ballast. should be here by friday at the latest they said. it's a 120/240 volt convertible ballast and pretty sure my lines a 120 now so once I get the 240v hard line down I can switch it so it runs a little more efficient. stoked to run some real lights :blsmoke:

Hey Boomer,

Man you don't fuck around. Here or at your outdoor journal.

Air pumps. I have had a little experience with them. If you want to go that deep and get a bunch of bubbles those cheap pumps are not going to cut it. You need a dual diaphragm pump like this one.

This should do the job, kinda pricey, like $65
But they sell rebuild kits so it will last quite a while.

The General Hydroponics Dual Diaphragm air pump is the only air pump in the world that is manufactured exclusively for use with hydroponics systems. This high output pump (394 gph/ 24,800 cc/minute capacities) has four adjustable 1/4" outputs or valves.
I have one, they rock.

You probally know this already but before you consider CO2 you should run ducting to the intake of the lights from out of the room. Then you wont be sucking out the CO2.

and ya when we do the c02 we will add ducting to a frame out the window for fresh air that circulates thru the lamps then out thru the ceiling

GTO- for the teas i actually learned from GTs tips to sum threads about making tea and shit its easy but for the nutes were trying out for flowering;

molasses, jamacian bat guano, micro nutes, then i just started using a bloom booster as Bone meal which is like 6-18-3 or sum shit. but well see the results soon.

i use the same setup tea for my outdoor and my buddys indoor

so the lights have been on 12/12 now for almost two weeks. the babies are at about 24" tall. seem to b growin well.

the temp is still kinda high and trying to get the room cooled down.

he went and got a 32gallon trashcan and a pump to bubble up the organic teas and its goin solid now. so well start the feeding tomorrow. hope to push these ladies.

theres good airflow in the room still and the mothers are4 doin good too. we need to take clones this week also.
ive read thta u can take clones from a mother after its been in veg for 2 months right? let me know guys thnx

oh and random but my buddy knows a guy who works for an ice cream store that does the ice cream ghetto trucks and shit and the guy is hookin us up with free unlimited dry ice! haha so free c02 for the room. even tho its not all that great or potent and our air duct sucks that shit out im sure it still mite help and u cant argue cuz its free.

so enjoy the pix let me know wat u guys think any questions or tips i appreciate it.
