3rd Grow, 1000 watt HPS. One Pound or Bust

Also checked the clones and two have tiny starter roots about a mm long so I'll take a few more clones before flowering probably I really need to huild a veg clone cab

70 day veg thats allllong time boss i couldnt wait that long im impateint as hell thats why i have autos going right now..lol.....But good job so far man keep it up and hit ur goal...

I have a dumb question.

On the lst'd plants, I have like 20 shoots coming up on one and like 12 on another. But these also have secondary shoots a few inches long starting. If I give it another week or two of veg will these all become big buds or just popcorn?

If you prune really heavy all the way to the top you should end up with nothing but nice big tops, but you have to really nip at it. I was scared the first time I pruned my plants, just take anything that looks weak as it is, and leave the big thick guys.

I have no problems with my timer. Just need a good one I guess. Glad to hear your clones are starting to root. They will be fine. IMO though I would get a small coleman cooler as a rez cuz with a tote you will battle high rez temps. The cooler will save ya a big headache

Ok, but I will be building a veg, clone cfl cab soon so the temps will not be high at all. This is more or less just a test run. I'm going to prune a little and clone any that are long enough, right before flipping. The room is starting to really fill up. I transplanted another plant to a a DIY airpruning pot so two of my plants are in them. It experianced a little bit of shock and is a little droopy today.

Also, went to put my plants in the ground today. 4 of them total. They are all really sad looking as they were the plants I was going to chop/toss away and just decided to stick them outside. They are super overwatered due to two weeks of rain but I'm sure they will recover or hope they will.

Here are the outdoor ladies. Look terrible right now. I don't really expect them all to surviver or prosper. I'm hopefully putting out some clones later in the season. I really just want one plant to make it through the season, anything else is a bonus.

Two are PK, one is guatamala bagseed and the other is a belize bagseed

Used about 6 gallon of miracle grow soil and peat moss with vermiculate for drainage. Didn't dig very big holes but the soil underneath is pretty good.

Do I plug my timer right into my power bar and it runs the power bar or do I plug the hps cord only into the timer

Do I plug my timer right into my power bar and it runs the power bar or do I plug the hps cord only into the timer

My light is plugged into the power strip and is the only thing on a timer. Air pumps & fans run constantly.
Set yours around your own schedule but I had mine set to go off at 12 midnight and back on at 6 for veg. (18/6)
For flower my light was on at 7 am and off at 7 pm. (12/12)
Now it's on at 8 am and off at 6 pm. (10/14) Helps to ripen them up faster for the last week. Optional but I'm trying to ripen up faster.
I'll be 10 weeks of flower and gonna go another week. My next grow will be 8-9 wk flower cuz 10-12 is too damn long. Lol

18/6 today. They are really starting to stretch everyday so I may even flip before day 70. Since I have a 1k hps hanging verticle in my 5x5 tent I was wondering how I should set up the ten so the maximum light gets to the buds. I was thinking the largest ones around the outside like I have it now as that seems the only way to do it but what about all the buts on the backs of the plants by the wall.

Day 64 pics. Think it's safe to say I will get a pound?

Tallest plants are 26 inches tall and about the 24 inches wide.

As I stated I'm looking for a pound. I still feel like they aren't big enough to obtain that... With only 5 big ones one small one and 5 auto flowers I'd have to average like 2.5 ounces each big one to hit my goal as I doubt I'll get an ounce off of each autoflower, I'm hoping for a half ounce each. I have experiances almost no stretch with this strain last time, literally 2-3 inches which is why I'm choosing to veg long as I know PK isn't a big yielder but I'm determined to pull a pound.

They look good. But IMO you still have a watering problem. They are too droopy for my liking. I like them perky and ready to drink some water.
I know you say they are sleepy, but to me it's a watering problem. You should have no problem at all hitting a pound or maybe even 2 pounds.
But you have to fix the droop in them first. If it were me I would have a moisture meter from wal-mart and stick it in the pots and know for sure.

Yah once again I took pictures right before watering, It's jsut a habit, they are perky as can be now, I fed them with a strong bloom formula as opposed to a veg based formula to start the trasition. I will probably be flipping to flower very soon.

I believe I may have been underwatering them, I shouldn't be letting them get to the point where they start to droop so I've upped to every two days as opposed to three and I started watering them alot more until they run off quite a bit. Thanks for all the help.

Counted 22 shoots on the one lst'd plant that should be decent buds and 12-14 on the other with about another 8-10 a few inches long starting on the secondary branching.

Am going to switch to flower as soon as I take out my cloned and build it another little box possibly tonight or tommorow I have bud blood but wasn't goon to use it because it resulted in zero stretch last time which hurt my yield, what do u guys think

Fed last night with

2 ml gallon flora micro
8 ml/gallon iguana juice.

This is half strength as the bottle recommends 16 ml/gallon for a full dose.

I will be using this ratio for the next week or so and be upping it slowly as flowering begins. I haven't decided if I should use bud blood yet I have mixed feelings on it. Also I will prob be feeding cal mag once a week or so.
