Hey guys hope everyone is cool ..

just wondering what you guys think about putting the plant (s) into 48hours of darkness b4 you chop to increase “Trichomes” ?? Please only comment if you have Actually tried doing it and not any speculation .. Thank you

my idea behind doing it, is that it puts the plant (s) under stress thinking they are fully dying and as a result protect themselves through a defence mechanism by coating herself with THC?

just my 2 cents but would love to hear what u wonderful peeps think
I did the 36 hours and yes it helps. They recover from the intense lighting they've been under and if you don't have time ( kind of weird not to have time after all that) just Harvest before day break,

I don't think so, especially if you have everything dialed in to perfection. And we know everyone here is perfect.
I know people are gonna want to shit on me, but I don't care. This is kinda interesting.

A side by side test using the same strain would be interesting actually.
Worked for me on this last harvest (MAC), the buds carried more moisture and were heavier with resin (to the touch, gooey) So I'm convinced. Last years grow I just harvested first thing in the morning and didn't give a shit about any of this darkness hocus pocus. But it's practiced by season growers, I'm not entirely sure but I believe it was Jorge Cervantes who pioneered this idea of practice, or shed light to it, respect to the elders.

Where does it say 36 hours I guess I’m missing it

looks like it says “end of dark period” which would be 12 hours. Or am I just high?
