dam the plants are looking so good and frosty, that PD is a fast flowerer from the looks of it. nice work man. and as for your nute Q well im not sure on the Mag. but in flower you do want a higher PK level then in veg

you would most likely find your anwser when you start your own thread
Thanks a lot man, definitely appreciate the info. I started using some more PK on my Purple Dragon and the spots and yellowin stems stopped progressing.

My camera was out of battery but heres a few pics from a couple days ago. Today is day 37 in flowering (the pictures were taken on day 35) and from the looks of things the purple dragon will be done in about two weeks! There are already a few scattered amber trichomes and the rest are, for the most part, cloudy. Im going to let it go until theres about 70% amber and 30% cloudy to give it a few extra days to bulk up and hopefully turn a shade of purple but ill be pulling it when its ready and not a day later. Im thinking its a six week strain which is nice because once its done drying and curing for a bit Ill be ready to harvest the cheese! Speaking of the cheese, things are really frosting up, even the fan leaves are starting to get a nice coating and the smell is unbelievable. If I rub one of the leaves and smell my fingers it has an overwhelmingly powerful diesel and lemon smell that finishes super skunky, definitely cannot wait to taste this strain. What I really find cool is the difference between the cheese and the Purple Dragon. The cheese has a very powerful and almost chemically smell to it but the PD has this bouque of tropical fruit and citris, very natural. It smells just how I feel purple is supposed to smell so the flavor should be incredible. Ill have some more pics posted soon, my camera is charging as I type. Let me know your thoughts!

Nice set up what type of bulb are you using? Also how do you like coco? I'm thinking of switching

its just a standard S51 400w HPS case might of said sun pulse but i already tossed it and the other is just a Mogul Socket Metal Halide coco is awesome bro! it holds for a 2 days in veg and like 3 days in flower and the plants just love it only difference is you need to PH your water and you need to just keep watering until you see good drainage but I am truly amazed at how low maintenance the coco is to grow with.

Thanks mcpurple, I have access to more clones but Im growing her more as a personal plant than anything else. I just wanted some really good purple to bust out on special occasions and what not so yield isnt too much of a concern (although after seeing the nugs I kind of wish I had vegged a little longer but oh well!) Do you know when purpling is supposed to start?

Well the girls are on day 38 of flowering and not much has changed since the last update. They might have frosted up a bit more but nothing crazy. What is new, however, is the smell which has become very sweet and musky. My room is a great place to be these days! They were watered last night with big bloom, tiger bloom, beastie bloom, cha-ching and EM-1.

just found this thread and it looks like its coming along awesome! Good job on the LST man your canopy looks great. those things are blowing up! Im a few weeks behind you on mine. I topped and then LST'd the 4 new colas out a bit. Check out the thread in my signature. The last page has some pics of the girls after a bit of training. I wish I had the capacity you do. +Rep though looking sick!

Glad to have you on my thread! I checked out your grow and it looks great. You did a nice job on the LST, you should definitely have a nice set of colas once you get into flowering. As far as space goes, its nice having a 4x4 grow area, however my room is only 10x10 so it does take up quite a bit of space (but hey we all make sacrifices right?)

your a little more than 5 weeks in right?? it could definately transfer some energy to the tops but it depends on how thick your undergrowth is. If they take longer than 8 weeks to ripen id probably do it. Cutting a ton of foliage could shock them this late in flower though. Snipping the little ones that wont even fully develop anyways probably wouldn't hurt. Its kinda a crap shoot.

Ya just over 5 weeks but I think the strain is an 8-9 week strain so I should have some time before harvest, I just dont want to stunt the plant in an attempt to increase cola size. Maybe Ill just trim away the lowest branches that arent developing much at all and stick to that.. Thanks for the advice!

Wow dude, I just got done reading your thread. Your plants are looking amazing. I'm gonna have to start giving this LST method a try. I'll be hanging around for the rest of this.

Peace.
