Absolutely beautiful
Thanks a lot man! The plants seemed just as healthy as ever which is new to me, but I checked the trichomes and they're 50/50 so their time has come so to speak. The hard work has definitely payed off I can't wait to smoke it!That is some really beautiful weed my friend. Rare to see the leaves looking that healthy at the end of flowering. Great job man, now the hard work pays off
It's good to be back, the holidays were nice but I can't be away for too long without getting ansy. Thanks for subbing my grow it's been great having you on my thread, the new grow starts in 2-3 days so stay posted for a new journal!First off welcome back and I hope you enjoyed the holidays. Great job on the grow my friend. It's always nice to come home to a plant that's ready to be harvested. The nugs definitely look nice, sweet and sticky.
Peace.
Thanks for the comment crasta! Sick profile pic also, is that you? I love my 4x4, Its small enough to fit in my room but big enough to grow some good sized plants. I LST all my plants so they never really get over 24" tall but there was enough room in my tent to easily fit 5 plants in five gallon buckets with room to spare. Ive got 16 one gallon buckets in there right now and I could easily fit another 10-15 but I dont know much about the strain so im leaving extra room in case they bush out. If youre only trying to grow a max of 9 plants in 5 gallon buckets I would switch to the 4x4. Check out my next grow to see how much space I have with the 16 plants in there right now. What type of grow are you trying to do?Respect on the kind buds man. They look like they soaked up the 600 crossed with the cfl combination real well.
Question for you; I'm currently running a 5 x 5 x 6 tent w/ 1000 hps all duct outside, I'm digging the efficiency of using more wattage with a little more space, but it just a little to big and looking to replace with a 4 x 4. How do you like working with the 4 x 4?
Thanks dapio! Im glad to finally be finished with the cheese and started on the next grow, ill be trying the SOG method while LSTing each plant once to cut their finishing height down. Check it out!damn man those look fire! good shit ill be following your next grow
Thanks a lot man, definitely appreciate the compliment! Im not sure on the total yield yet, only the popcorn nugs are dry enough to start curing, but the bigger nugs all weighed between 18-30 grams a piece wet so about 4-7 grams dry. Im thinking I pulled just over 10 ounces from 5 plants which is kinda low but there were some temp problems (dropped to 68*F) during the last 10 days of flowering when my friend was watching the girls for me so I think I lost a bit of weight because of that. Haha I would fill your jar if I could dude, I just suffered through a month of empty jars waiting for this to be finished so I feel your pain. Come check out my next grow, its Granddaddy Blueberry should be good stuff!great job surfer, you did really, really well. What was your overall yield then? I forget how many plant's you had on the go.
they really do look like awesome buds, I would love to have one of those sitting pretty in my jar right now .... its empty
