Wow dude, I just got done reading your thread. Your plants are looking amazing. I'm gonna have to start giving this LST method a try. I'll be hanging around for the rest of this.

Peace.
Thanks a lot man! Definitely give LST a try, this is my first time using the technique and the difference is unbelievable. The plants are producing way more colas and because they are so short and stocky, its much easier to take care of compared to my last grow. You wont regret using LST!

By the way nice op! You definitely took it and ran with it! + rep again
Glad to have you back! Im still debating whether or not I want to start trimming this late into flowering, I really dont want to stunt the plant at this point. Awesome job on your grow man, I checked it out and it blew me away! Its almost like you have your own personal forest going

I pulled my girls out of the tent to check for mildew, spidermites, dead leaves ect and took a few pics of each. Really nice to be able to see below the plant without having to lie on the ground. Not really an update, just thought the pictures were kind of cool. Day 39 in flowering if im not mistaken

Dude those look nice when you take them out of the tent. I probably wouldnt take very much off of them, cause you trained them well enough that popcorns didnt really grow, at least from what i can tell. Good work dude. If you trim anything it probably shouldnt be much! This is what im hoping mine will flower into in a few weeks but we shall see

Thanks a lot man! I decided against trimming the plants, there really wasnt much to trim anyway. Your plants will look like mine in no time, just make sure to keep a watchful eye on them! How far into flowering are you?

looking good man, i would not trim anything from them. it is kinda far into flower IMO.
Thanks mcpurple, definitely agree with you as far as trimming the risk doesnt outweigh the reward at this point (plus a few popcorn nugs makes for good hash!)

I was planning on starting flower in a week, I can only llegally grow 3 plants in CO, so I want them to be a bit on the bigger side. I am leaving for the holidays right then. My buddy who is a very experienced grower and lives real close is going to take care of them. I wanted to wait as long as I could to flower because of this. I figure they are more susceptible to problems as it gets later into flower. The only think I am worried about is the stretch the first 2 weeks and moving the light but he said he would be on top of it.

dude I highly recommend the hot shot no pest strips keeping my closet sterile as ever and dont get scared by all the google terror post about it being toxic I sleep in my same room as the closet and I ain't dead gotta get it how any way you can lol. Not to mention their cheap like 5 bucks each and said to last 4 months I change for every time I switch veg/flower tho regardless.

Ya it's rough having to leave your plants in someone elsewhere care ( even if they're a great grower). I can't stand it! You should be alright with stretch though, since you LSTed them pretty good they should only grow about a foot or so. If you're really worried about the light; just raise it a foot above where it is and put something under your buckets to get them closer to the light. That way your buddy only needs to remove their support to adjust for the distance. Just a thought

Ya I know what you mean I had a roommate takin care or this ghetto CFL grow I was doin a while back. Last 10 days of flower, all he had to do was water, no nutes or anything. He forgot to turn the fan on day (ghetto setup so fans werent on timers) and the lack of air movement gave em bud mold and I lost an entire plant and had to clip the other one early. I was pissed haha but its cool cause CFL bud is usually kinda shitty. I can trust my guy though, hes got a bigger setup goin on and I'll just take a pinch off his harvest if he fucks anything up haha but its gonna be cool to leave plants in veg and come back to them well into flower. I have yo-yo hangers so moving the light is super quick and easy. Thats probably the best 15$ Ive spent on the new setup.

Sorry for the delay on updates, I just finished my last final and am ready to enjoy some time off. Im debating harvesting the purple dragon tonight though, I want to pull just as the amber trichomes start to show up to keep the high cerebrial. I was also thinking about doing a 24 hour dark period with a UVB light running next to it periodically. Any thought on that? Well here some trichome pics of the purple dragon, Ill have some of the cheese tomorrow!
