So with 2 males so far we are down to 4 plants of unkown gender Plus an outdoor who also has no know gender yet.

The smallest 2 outdoors are gone. Both were eaten. I have cats and skunks that i think are the culprit. The last outdoor has a fence over it to protect it but is still taking some damage. It also has purple on all new growth tips.

Well the outdoors definitely ain't lol

Even if i only get one lady its fine. Ill just clone her and run it under better conditions.

My backyard grow is going along pretty well.. no nutes...except for when i took them out of the basement and put them in the ground outside at the beginning of the season.. used only tap water... and they are going pretty well....especially for having been harvested while in the basement this last winter

Wish u the best hope it works for ya

sound like a reveg to me

would take couple of mouths to reveg and get rid of the twisted growth and single finger leaves, revegged plants look really messed up for some time

Yeah ive heard the stress cam force it to hermie too, and even if it works you get a lower yeild and quality.

Clones make way more sense.

Anywho i think i got another male. That will leave me with 3 plants, one outdoors and the smallest 2 indoors.

i actually did my first reveg of a plant and after she grew out of her fugly stage and started growing regular leaves, she ended up being hard to detect from other plants i had just topped in flower. she was beautiful the second time around (first time too) and the smoke was just as good. i was concerned because clones can be floppy but she had a nice, overall structure to her.

another male? i have ended up with too many females! isn't that always the way :-)

Out of the 3 that are left, only two are large enough to get a decent clone without taking a huge portion of the plant. Once they sex im going to take a clone and grow it out im better conditions to compare results.

and my last two are female as well - how are yours doing? i know, it's only been a day but i inspect mine as soon as lights are out with a flashlight each night when i'm waiting for them to reveal themselves to me. ;-)

Well, lights came on an hour ago and i did another check for gender. The outdoor was a boy. One more indoor was a boy, and one of my indoors finally was a girl. Im down to 2 plants. One girl, one undetermined. Will post pics soon.

The girl doesn't have any good branches to clone. Im going to wait a few days and see if they get to a respectable size and i will clone then. If i can clone her, i will take more cuttings from the clone.

You are by far not an idiot. What you are doing is educational. The reason is we are all told to do this and that to get good green. We are not told what will happen if we don't. This will show a new person the reason to use more light better soil and nutes. One can say all day you must do this to get a good crop. Not a soul will show you what happens if you don't. Its almost as if its embarrassing to show pictures of a bad grow.

We all want the biggest nuggets right? One pound yield on every plant. Wait I hear reality knocking. To know all sides of the grow makes you a better farmer. We all get that harvest that is small. Thats with doing everything right.

Who knows this could make a stronger healthier strain. Grown over and over by clone till you get an ok yield with all original factors in place.

That kind of clone would explode in the good stuff. We stress train our plants. Why not make a strain with stress training.

Getting success in this area could be very lucrative. Selling by clone only a real hard to kill strong growing plant.

The variables are endless. Pollinate this plant with others that do great things. This is how a new strain can be created.

Now my question is. Who wants a clone of a plant that grows like a mad dog that just broke its chain?
Think about it. Think about the future. Think about the past. How far we have come. Thinking eating a leaf will get you high. In the Cheech and Chonge movies it was funny. Well now its funny. Back then they believed that.

In order to make things better you must take a few steps back sometimes. Think about it! Don't just call an explorer stupid. Is that the kind of attitude that got us to the moon? Or even discovered that the world is not flat?
Take time to think!

I was waiting for a response like this among a field of dicks. Just glad it finally wasn't me! Go McGrammar, can't wait to see how your girl turns out! I love this

i like she's the smallest - i think it will add to the experiment. i've seen some threads on here with small runts that turned out great that have made me regret culling a few so just to see the potential of a runt w/o all the bells and whistles is cool.
