Actual bud...

Around what week in flowering could you expect to see some actual bud instead of just alot of pistils (white hairs)??? Almost 3 weeks in and just alot of white hairs.

Mogie, that might have helped if half the links were broken on that page. I checked out all the links that did work and none answered that question. That is why I added a thread. Just needed a quick answer.

I've been flowering for just over 2 weeks and all I have are lots of white hairs! If anyone can help then I need to know this too!

My buds started to smell/have crystals and look like buds between 3-4 weeks

yep mine too about 4 weeks maybe 5> crystals and smell hmm cant wait.

Wow I'm right in step with you folks at 37 days. 1st grow too.... That will put me at about 45 days when they start getting stinky. Ain't nature freakin cool? It just works.

will hopefully started seeing some crystals over the next couple of weeks then!!!

dont start talking crystals as alot of farmers ere use low grade seeds
the seeds make a difference. if you are growing bag seed or most likely outdoor strains your developement will be slow. my first time i did this and flowering took 11 weeks for small ligt buds. with a vigerous indoor seed you will see rapid developement week 2-5 and fill out week 5-8

you're seeing crystals when the white hairs turn golden and then reddish brown?

Here they are at Day 22 Flowering. This was bagged seed and a first time grow. There is now about 4 nodes with these on it.

I was able to see the buds forming quite early into flowering with my plant.

pics are 26th day flowering.

ye im about the same as you guys. Day 23 and im yet to see any bud. Just white hairs all over.

all you people growing indoors really should save the 35 or so dollars for some nirvana or highgrade indica strains. alot of bagseed is usually some sativa that originated in south america. you would be suprised in the difference a good indoor strain will make compaired to some outdoor sativas. not knocking sativas i actually have one in my garden as we speak but the diff is huge. im aslo not tryin to knock you if all you have is bagseed to work with. not everyone can or is willing to go for it and order. ive noticed though if you can find a bag with one or two seeds that has a pretty heavy stone its pretty often an indica. right now i have 4 indicas and 1 sativa the 1 has been growing for almost a month longer and been flowering bout half a month longer and the bud growth is hugely diff
sativas also seem to be very tempermental plants.
indicas need less care and can take some cooler weather
my sativa has very little bud and lotsa hairs and my indicas have at least an ounce on a couple and prob 3/4 on the other 2
the ind are flowerin nother month and maybe a week depending on maturation. the sat is prob gettin another 6 weeks. she smells sweet as hell and i think has some thai in er. the mom she was cloned from was grown outdoors by a friend and had to be picked early cuz it was in a cornfield. it was bout 8ft monster and had prob 3 Os on her
although deff not all the way mature it still had you gigglin for hours. im hopin grown long enough not for a big yeild but some nice head stash for me and my girl and good mates. maybe itll get that good trippy edge we all love some bomb sat for.
matter a fact a local dude came to my boys house for a lil party/smoke out. he rolled a blunt with maybe 5 or 6 grams in it. it was passed around bout 12 ppl. this guy i guess started to trip on it and had to leave. hes datin my Ex. and he stopped smokin cuz of it and made her stop to. shes pretty bummed but still comes over and smokes a splif with me once and a while with out him knowin

sorry if you thought i was cuttin ya down bout your seeds. just tryin to provide some insight, i had a few successful grows and have seen your usual probs. got the game pretty dial now though. but you can always learn something new, i do everyday, then forget it an hour later

man i got some feminised white widow seeds and i am more than happy ,i got crystals, big buds, it smells bad and didnt take long I will use these seeds again and another thing compaired to sativa - Indica sucks. so with indica while you are stuck to your chair> Exuse me while i kiss the sky..... I know it might be better indoor cause its bushier and stuff but mine are way bushy and thats mostly sativa so choose what strain you like most, i took white widow cos its one of the best and strongest strains and i like the smell.
but bag weed seeds better are than nothing esspecially in us where hard to get a hold of, and crystals come then brown/orange hair then crystals turn brown if the crystals turn brown you left harvest too late and potency is reduced.
if it looks healty and has what it needs its only amatter of time before you get bud Question is how much? buaaaahaaahaaahaaa
