Advanced nutrients?????

No, I just use a filter. My water is low PPM, like 50-80. If you are going to use pH Perfect, don't even read your pH… its going to seem off, just read your plants. If you use it correctly, you will be stoked. The nutrients are super available to your plants they will feed properly!

i also used alot of chemies, i first started in sherman oaks when elbows were still 42, 48, and we had access to a hydro store chemies gallor, nectur of the gods sucks, cyco, wasnt impressed, fox farm, advance, house and garden, gh,x factor newer, floration dutch master, dutch mast gold, sensi advance the hole line up, the list goes onn, and i came to my own formula of mixing and maching, i use the best one some thing supplementing the plants as they like to grow looking for sighn of stress, curling discolloring, bla bla bla, advance does have some stuff that kick fucken ass, but they will replace anything you complain about, i talked to the rep, he told me that turantchula is X factor, and the x factor usto kick ass, but they been shoping for their core minnerals and grabing them at the cheapest price and reformulation the formulas, with out tell us the growers, but it you have a big set up your fucked, because instead of warning people they dont they just do it, it could be lie for all we know something could of gone wrong but they might not want to get rid of all that liquid everything spoils but what ever happend they didnt recall i heard for a few month complaints from all kinds of stores discout hydro, greencoast, mega stores, and your mom and pop stores too people aint as stoopid as people think thier are a few in the croud that can tell something is not right color and reaction to plants.. thats what turned me off.. i hate to change my formula sensi i not gona go threw a small yield again fuck that it seems to me that i will try canna this round and see but keeping my main shit from other line ups still in tact, also i would run heavey 16 but aroe cant take it, but that what i would run if in coco or soil.

I don't know what you are even talking about through half of that rant, but the part about tarantula being X factor..? And a rep telling you that they are using cheap minerals… why lie and make things up. You can do some real simple research to see that Bud Factor X and Tarantula are two completely different nutrients. Completely.. Tarantula is beneficial bacteria and Bud X is Chitosan and some other stimulants that will cause your plant to produce more oils and resins. You sir are no help here. Your just spreading that hate but it comes from no experience with the products.

yeah big mike thinks so too. Have you seen the video of big Mike tell everyone that HG Root Exhillerator is better then his root enhancer? its on YouTube.com

Yes I have seen that clip and I rock Roots Ex most of the time, But, I also use voodoo juice which does a really good job. I think RE is benificials also, but Im not sure if there is more too it than that. Either way, I have used either product for the same purpose, so I don't know why Big Mike made such a statement about it, they both do a good job.

I havnt used Revive, but it looks like a bunch of chelated micro nutrients. I don't think it would be necessary with connoisseur because connoisseur already has a bunch of chelation. It is suppose to be used if you get lock out or a deficiency, but I bet it would be a great additive if you where using a basic base nute

Thanks BUdbuddysmlie, yeah i had powdery mildew on my sour diesels and when they were treated last time (Green Cure) it killed the hairs. I used the revive by its self and what a difference, the hairs came back in two days and it looks better then ever, but i would really like to use it with my other advance nutes. im in soil so im limited to the times it gets food you know.

Awesome, I actually picked a bottle of revive up the other day based on this convo. It just seems like a good thing to have on hand. I don't usually have major issues, but anyone that consistently gardens runs into lockout now and again. I may try to use it just as a nice boost at like half strength with my normal feedings. May be redundant, but we will just have to see.

can i use Revive by Adv. Nutes. with conna. A&B by Adv. Nutes and big bud
Yep, there would be no problem doing that.

A few questions:

What water source are you using?
How many is a "a few days"?

I've seen the pH move around a fair amount before, but my plants were lush and happy so I just kept an eye on them and they were growing as well as ever if not better so I didn't mess with the pH. I can't say I've seen the pH go that high, but if the plants are still happy... don't fix it if it ain't broke. These nutrients feed plants in a much wider range of pH than others. Supposedly, as long as the pH isn't so high or so low it literally melts the roots off the plant, they should do fine. Can't say I'd like to test that myself, but that's what I've heard.

I have a well and the water comes out at around 320 ppm because of the calcium, so it goes through a softener and then an ro.
I mix a batch per the schedule from the website, it does go to 5.8/5.9 and 1800 ppm and will float up to 6.6/6.7 within a couple of days.

It takes quite a leap of faith to NOT adjust when the numbers are like that

Yup - I was wondering the same things... A little vague, but my guess is that a few tweaks will get things in order.

Yes… I mix at 5.9 and through out the week it will eventually drift to 6.7I top off half strength base nutes every other top off. It helps get buffers back into the solution. Regardless by day 7 I will be around 6.5-6.7 and then change my res.My first round I tried to use pH down, but it is really counter productive. I think it gave me lock out. After talking to tech support, they said DO NOT pH it at all that the nutrients are available between pH 4-8Sounds kind of nuts, but my second cycle I didn't pH at all, plants looked super healthy and yield was on point. Im on my 4th cycle and can say with confidence not to pH it at all. I don't even look at my pH anymore. Don't, it will make you feel better about it all. Only a slight increase in yield, if not averaging the same, but I am getting better oils and resins. Im happy with it.

I am running at 100 PPMs higher than I normally would. I definitely don't feel comfortable at full strength. Tech Support told me to run it at the full 4ml per L, but I am sure it would cause burn. at 3/4 I am just seeing a little tip burn here and there, but this is also on a low PPM strain. pH I trust now for sure. Plants look great even when I drift up to 6.5, I do still keep an eye on my PPM. Do you notice any problems at 1800ppm cuz that would scare the shit out of me.

I ran it that high for a week, and the plants stretched ALOT (3rd week of flower) more than they did the last run with the old AN line. This strain (sannies hercules) stretches to the point you think you are growing stems, but yeilds in the end. They did show of bit of burn, but nothing to be alarmed about, just the last 1/8" or so of the tips of the leaves.I have backed off to 1100 ppm's and am still resisting the urge to adjust ph when I see numbers that high, but my girls are looking good. Thanks for the help and peace of mind, what strain do you have growin if you don not mind me asking?

I'm also using the ph perfect line. But I add Dyna Gro Pro-Tekt after mixing in all the AN stuff. But depending on how much I use, it can spike the ph. Even after a couple hours with an airstone.

I add nutes and light. Nothing else. I use a 7g pot, I veg for a minimum of 45 days to a maximum of 60. I have pulled 6 dried oz off of 1 plant with a 600w No CO2, no special nutes, nothing. Matter of fact, even though the temp is 70'when the light is on, it gets down to 45' in the garage. Water and grooming is what makes a plant. Ther are nutes in the dirt and evertime u water the roots absorb those nutes. I put my main starts in a 7g pot. I take clippings after a month of vegg. I want 3 good starts from this. These starts will be put in a tall skinny 4 gallon pot(because of space for the light). Right now, I have a 10 starts in a dome. My palnt is Afgoo, plus I cloned some white fire too(because a branch broke off). In another week or so I will take off more, maybe. As I have plenty of starts. I am a month into Vegging and have 1-2 more months. What I want is 2 extremely large plants, 3 medium size and 4 small ones(the small ones will be in 2 gallon pots). I am using a 1000whalide/hps and a 600whalide/hps in a room that is 8'long by 5'depth and 8'tall. I want 3-5lbs of dried weed. I started Oct. 22. I will begin flowering sometime in late Dec. With a projected harvest date in Late Feb., early March. Oh, for u guys who are wondering what I will do for weed. I also have a tent that my 600whps is flowering a White Fire, she will be ready mid Jan. For all of this I use ADVANCE NUTES SENSI GROW A&B AND SENSI BLOOM A&B. I also have an AN calcium and mg added to them. It is 4-0-0. Oh and for those who think denying ther plant Nitrogen during flower, suck my 6" cock. U can keep it the same or add more. It is good to blast a flowering plant with P and K, helps speed up the inducing of flowering. All of u who spend money on the extra shit, it is only good when u are doing huge consistant grows. If I bought all that stuff, it would go bad before I used it all. I have had the same bottle of Nutes for a year, the small bottle. No they havent gone bad yet, but they can.
