What is the w/sf look like? Do you have a fan blowing over the lettuce? My lettuce was doing really well when I was running a timer 30min on / 30 min off 24/7. I had to switch tho cuz all my plants are on same timer so now Im 18 on and 6 off and its causing some tip burn... FWIW
Do you have final pics of that lettuce?Same satic one i used on the lettuce trial that didn't blow up my skirt... so we'll see ive changed my veg room timing to
6on 2off x3 and getting lots of love..
What K Temp are you running?5 gallon pot, some sort of Bhut Jolokia. Leaves are supposed to be this huge for this particular strain.(from what I've read, was worried at first)
Currently under 100w of LED bulbs, 6 13W philips 1521 lumen ones, and 1 20W Osram 2452 lumen with the cover still one. Will add 2 20W Osrams with the cover removed soon, all 2700k.
Light is about 26 inches from the plant
Internodes are pretty tight.
Also very tight on the ones in the small cups.
Expiriment to see how good the new bulbs were.
When I first put it under the light when it was just from the cup, it turned insta droopy from light stress, wonder if it will do it again when I put the 2 extra Osrams in it and lower the light.
Right now it looks pretty comical with the huge leaves way too tight on each other.

Love it. Nice!5 gallon pot, some sort of Bhut Jolokia. Leaves are supposed to be this huge for this particular strain.(from what I've read, was worried at first)

What variety are you growing there Dredd?Hey guys, i'm also doing an experiment with LED bulbs, i've got a dwarf tomato in an experimental DWC system, no air stone, only a tiny submersible pump that turns on for 15 minutes every two hours, just to circulate the water a little to keep the fertilizer from falling out of solution, absolutely no aeration going on.
This dwarf tomato was started from seed on the 18th of january and is growing under two 14.5w osram bulbs, 2700k/6500k, both rated at 1520 lumens, as you can see it already has full size tomatoes on the vine, also the roots are pearly white which is surprising since again, no aeration.

Definitely, your wasting juice on those auto's so you might as well have something to eat should they finish and you get the munchies
Ok I will dig up the rex seeds you sent me and drop one in each tent in a grow bag like before. That should work and use up some of your favorite soil FFOF that is lying around here lolDefinitely, your wasting juice on those auto's so you might as well have something to eat should they finish and you get the munchies
Seriously, would be nice to see what the quantum boards do on greens!
Yes both LED bulbs are in the same 60deg reflector side by side, i jerry rigged an e27 1 to 2 splitter with some JBWeld glue and a few e27 bulb housings i had laying around, the variety is called "new big dwarf" by victoryseeds, i highly recommend this variety for indoor grow since it really doesn't get very tall and its very dense with a thick stem like a bush, most of the time it doesnt even need any support or tomato cage, i only took a picture of the 3 biggest tomatoes but the plant is literally packed with smaller newer ones right now, at least 20.What variety are you growing there Dredd?
Are both led's in the same reflector?
Looking good - these experiments get a lot of us growers of all plants really excited
FFOF comes with complementary fungus gnat larvae in every bag.Ok I will dig up the rex seeds you sent me and drop one in each tent in a grow bag like before. That should work and use up some of your favorite soil FFOF that is lying around here lol
