P.S. Glad you finally listened to me and went with 9 per light lol
Yes and specifically these single engine cobs because the versatility they offer to adjust placement and distance to canopyHey Mobo, so do you prefer the cobs over qbs?
how many watts are the single lights being run at?Yes and specifically these single engine cobs because the versatility they offer to adjust placement and distance to canopy
54 watts eachhow many watts are the single lights being run at?
Yeah I forgot I'm not running on 240v like the old place. Stoner moment.remember the draw on those 600's is likely more @ 5 amps or so each.. if you have a watt meter check it.
10a breakers, with one light you are basically almost over the recommend load.
..10a breakers that is strange.
also a good idea if you're a property owner who doesn't want people growing lol.
Oh and I do have a watt meter will check it later if I go back in or tomorrow. Thanks for the help.remember the draw on those 600's is likely more @ 5 amps or so each.. if you have a watt meter check it.

TY much appreciated manLovin' your work and dedication man.....top stuff!
Just gonna slap up a few pics don't feel like typing much. Trying to sort out an electrical issue the breaker keeps tripping when the third 600 fires up and this isn't my place so I can't just go running wires and what not. I was telling brother one hit done never before seen a house panel with nothing but 10a breakers it's kinda silly. Building codes are very different here than back home obviously.
Worms are in the big pots cover crop growing plants adjusting and autos looking like shit lol. The hubba bubba are freaking exploding though and I topped them excited to see how they grow out.

modern code is 15 amp breakers per circuit. grandfather pane; it sounds like to me. agreed at 10a per breaker you need to time your lights so that one is one and settled down before you turn on the second one and you might get by. startup current drops after load balancing periodremember the draw on those 600's is likely more @ 5 amps or so each.. if you have a watt meter check it.

Thanks bro. I follow the Mendo Dope Boys too good music and crazy skills. This is just what keeps working best for me time and time again and I have found the no till work better "for me" with HID lighting not sure what the rationale is I really can't answer it all I can do is show you guys what I see. I was away all weekend pretty much expecting to walk into a mess watering the other night and everyone was good. The Hubba Bubba autos are blowing up under the HPS and I topped them all recently. I am debating now whether or not worth up potting them to 5 gallon fabric or let them go and get the next run of them in the 5 gallon pots we will see how these girls do in the #3 nursery pots (still no till). This is how I grow my.outdoor veggies just add water. My ghost pepper is a monster I will snap a pic tomorrow when there's sunlight. I appreciate the kind words. Not done with these COBs though my favorite LEDs I have used to date. nice plants BTW bro. looking good. @Evil-Mobo love that No-Till soil with the clover cover crop. I do the same here with my Old Lady's garden. She loves organic's microgreens, and is also a worm farmer too. My Old Lady Follows BrownGuy420 and The Mendo Dope Vision MDV Boyz for their soil skillz, and your soil skills look on point too.
BAD IDEA. The wiring is likely to be as outdated as the amp rating and in any case running 100% of the rated load continuously is dangerous. Run one x 600W lamp per 10A@110V circuit. It's very embarrassing to have a fire and watch them call the cops on you.modern code is 15 amp breakers per circuit. grandfather pane; it sounds like to me. agreed at 10a per breaker you need to time your lights so that one is one and settled down before you turn on the second one and you might get by. startup current drops after load balancing period

Your old COB LED fixtures are still working great, by the way. Thanks bro. I follow the Mendo Dope Boys too good music and crazy skills. I am debating if I feel the need for more light in the hps tent to rotate the raptors and add some Autocobs six to be exact we will see how the hos does though before enduring more expense so far it's surpassing my expectations. It's like being reunited with an old friend and things are just getting dialed in.
Screw that brother you get as carried away as you want your grow gets me psyched too. The plants look great and I am a lover of all things old school and sativa too I'm going to have to see how I work in the testers I still have from my last run of the six footers in the old place that had to come down early due to the divorce and move.Great pics of your work brother!
I especially like the last one with the cover crop close up.
Here's mine flowering under the 2 600 Hortilux super hps'
Filling up fast. Moved up the short one up front tonight. She is from old stock ch9. Has a mix of old sensei seed stuff. Power plant, jack Herrer, hash plant and afghani.
Only seed I got to germinate from an old pack. Not that I am complaining about the chance to get a nice plant with some great old stuff inside. I took a couple of cuttings in case she is special. Supposed to be 7-8 week flowering. Showed female preflowers in 30 days.

The plant in the back with the more developed buds is a European bred White Widow. The seeds are sold to the bulk market in thousands at a time. I had never heard of this but apparently breeders do some side selling and trading this way. I was asked to grow some and I am really impressed with the speed and structure so far. She is only middle of week 4 in 12/12. And really sativa leaning.
Sorry for getting carried away with the long post.
Your grow gets me psyched up my friend.
I am glad to hear those babies had a lot of thought and research put into them. I was very proud of those lights and the old 240v setup they were running on.Your old COB LED fixtures are still working great, by the way.
