I have an urgent mild emergency and normally I wouldn't post this crap here unless it had already come up. It seems my new light, the one I was assured would comply and not cause interference, is causing internet and cable issues for hundreds of people withing miles, somehow directly injecting noise into the cable system.

Can someone point me to a thread where this is discussed and solved? I am pretty sure there is a noise filter I can install and solve this. I don't need the cable guy sniffing around so closely. I may have to even unplug for a few days.

Off to UTFSE and hope I can find something fast

any help would be awesome and I hope I'm not offending you Evil, thanks
Buy a new ballast (with a square wave frequency or something like that) The ballast is messing up the towers that intercept the signals.

Not sure what ballast your using?
I have Hortilux 600 Golds and Platinum 1000's, just had a "420 friendly" cable guy at my house looking to a signal leakage which ended up being a kink in the line running to my internet modem.
No issues at all from the Hortilux ballasts, but Hortiux makes no claim of being residential RFI compliant.

I believe Galaxy are the only ones at the moment that do have that compliance but I would recommend those ballasts. One power surge and the POS is most certainly done.

You could also try this:

That won't help me right this minute, I need it yesterday and I can't afford another brand new ballast just yet. That's another project for another day.

I am reading about different things, @Revolution Micro has a lot of good info on it in another thread and idk why it isn't registering and tagging him.

The cable guy said they are getting direct injection feedback into their lines of 40-45 megahertz and this is within the range of many reported digital ballasts but all are pretty much supposed to be fixed for consumer purchase these days. These were supposed to be issues for days long gone when digital ballasts were a new tech. Maybe I got an NOS item or their just selling illegal shit. Came from ebay so it's probably not legal for sale/purchase here.

Driving 150 miles tomorrow to go buy this item exactly. My "local" hydro shop

I hope it works as advertised, any experience with it?

Ok guys garden update. Lot's of pics tonight. Tonight I only watered and fed the plants in the Tupur still which is the AutoCob tent and 3 plants in the HPS tent: Blue Harley, Purple Envy, and one of my Doggie Dreams. Everything else is looking good to me I am happy with the way the transition to soil is going, once the plants adjust to my liking and I have just the 10 gallon fabric pots setup I will take cuts of things defoliate wait for them to bounce back from defol and flip the lights.

Here's a few shots of the COB tent, look like shit but it's too late in the game to do much more than I am. The auto pounder is starting to stack and has a blue hue to it, and the 3 Skywalkers are coming right along and starting to show some purps:

Then here's a few shots of what's going on in the HPS tent:

And last but not least my Doggie Dreams #2 first to sex out fem and not an auto very excited the freaking smell off of this thing jesus:

Things are not perfect it takes a minute for the plants to adjust to this growing system but I am happy with how it's going. Thanks for checking in :peace:

Alrighty then @Evil-Mobo here's one more pic.

It's an almost finished flower on the OG Kush x Trainwreck I was having some problems with.

Got her back pretty well before I lost all the good leaves. Lol. Picky girl.

She smells like lemons, earth and fuel.

How often do you water each night with tupur? What is that growing in your soil? A companion plant that keeps bugs away?

I think you meant to ask evil mobo this?

I use ocean forest and pure Blend Pro Grow only.

But it is a cover crop and he explains it above some comments back. And he posted a video he learned it from a page back or so.

It's really interesting they can copy the outside food web in a nursery pot.

No offense at all.

Rules for posting in my thread:
1: No politics
2: No religion
3: No trolls

Outside of that I could care less and encourage involvement as much as possible from other members. It is really that simple, but I find folks have a lot of trouble with #'s 1 & 2, and there's always a #3 or two lurking somewhere lol.........

Thanks brother not where I want to be yet but I know I will be soon because I went back to my go to the organics. It's just stupid easy for me because unknown to me at the time this is what my grandfather was doing and I grew up with him in his yard taking care of the fruits and veggies in no till. TY Grandpa.

It's just what gives me the best results while at the same time being easier for me, I can't ignore that. I know it's not for everyone, and I do not try to push this on anyone, but my opinion, if I'm sick and growing my own shit, why not do it organic? People say organics doesn't yield, my answer to that bullshit. My highest yields with autos so far that has broken records twice for me so far has been doing my no till and under HID and COB's. I want to show people you can grow medicinal grade stuff at home, easily, and in an affordable manner. I share everything, the good, bad, and ugly that's how we all learn. I'm just at ease already because this is a "system/style" of growing I have used a lot, so I already know the deficiencies I see right now are just part of the transition. I never have healthier auto's or photos as I do when I do no till. Simple as that. I'm lucky that this is also not as much work, and easier "for me". The hardest part is getting a good soil mix, and then getting the "life" going in the soil. You could literally go tap water only and top dress as needed. Me doingg the foliars and the fish fertilizer, and the coconut/aloe powder, and silica is just "extra" I shared the playlist where I learned this "Brownguy420" I LOVE this guy for sharing his info and have been following him for a LONG time. One day I just said what the heck, let me follow exactly what he does and see what happens. And what happened was I grew the best weed of my life and had a KILLER veg going, I have a pic of it and have even used it as an avatar as per the "request" of a fellow member. I was hooked right off the bat. No more mixing ml's of this and that, no more EC, no more PH. Defoliate and the leaves go right into the pot. "Bad" bugs are very rare because you have "good" bugs going in your soil. Where's the issue. I got hooked. If you can take the time to prepare it's the easiest way to grow and has given me my best results time and time again. It's what works for me.

Sorry rant over. I'm just very passionate about this. Cannabis has gotten me opiate free and has given me my life back. I take this seriously.

I usually water every other day. I alternate fish fertilizer one time, tap water only, coconut/aloe powder, Ful-Power, tap water only. Then repeat. Of course this is a guideline, you have to learn to read your plants. Growing organically has taught me that. I grow on instinct in my organics, I will top dress certain things as needed and sometimes prepare special teas from seed sprouts etc. But the routine I specified before is my "guideline". You need a balance of wet and dry as to not cause root rot and not kill the worms.

I love it man, in case the past few posts don't let you know lol. Since I already do this outside in SIP's it's just a no brainer man. Longer you use the soil the better it gets. :hump:
