Well as some of you know No1 and No3 my most vigorous kids
turned out to be fellas
So I had to do what every good dad does at times like these and outright kill them.
Chopped em off right at the bottom of the main stalk and removed them from my Grow Room forever!
But now I have these two really bushy plants and Um... what do I do with them?
The answer was

The fellas had been hanging upside down and were getting pretty crispy so I chomped em down even more and put em in a bag in my closet.
Opened up the bag when I got home and tossed em around some (like a salad) and closed the bag again when I went to work.
Now they are all dried out and really crispy and re read the instructions to be safe.
OK I got myself some 91% juice and went to work.
all the cuttings stems etc fit into my wonderful Cuisinart Blender
added alcohol to cover and blended for exactly 70 seconds
(there is a timer thing on my blender)
Strained thru a nylon looking forever coffee filter
then squeezed that thru another regular paper coffee filter
Took a pinch of the leafy material from the first filter an tossed it in to help sop up the stuff that evaporated out.
(i think it said to do that if you wanted)
I might add I did have a spill and it was electric neon green on the paper towel that I used to wipe it up.
but the concentrated liquid remained black as did the dried results.
Sat in sun on 80F day for 6 hrs.
(note: use a screen or like me a grease splash thingy for over a frying pan to keep the bugz out)
saw some evaporation but not as much as hoped.
Then put on floor in basement and ran a pretty powerful fan into the container.
This worked a LOT better and saw almost all liquid gone by later that night.
Its sitting there now waiting for me to get home
hopefully it will be dry enough to sample.
It did not smell bad (but not real good either)
I wonder in the wisdom in this.
Pot does not make THC at the stage of growth (pre-flowers and just beyond) and there is even less if any on males.
But people do this so I did too.
I will report on this side adventure after I get home from work.
Hopefully it will get me high, but not from a lack of oxygen due to the smoke.
